how do you do the second boss on altered beast do you just keep shooting the eye?

ohh press O i think it is and does the electric thing like all around u and keep going close to the eye wen its open and keep pressing that button and keeping doing a electric thing around u. i cant do level 3 :( hes to hard arhhhhhhh
