THIS POLL WAS ACCIDENTLY DELETED. PLEASE VOTE AGAIN.

Due to popular demand, the PES6 knockout stage rules were changed to 2 legs. This went against my better judgement and the tried n tested formula for our PES events...but we aim to please the community!

The rules were changed this mornin and as such today a few objections have been raised. As such, I am asking the 16 players in the knockout stage for their preference in the poll above.

Please have your vote n say asap. The vote will run for 24hrs only.

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY VOTES FROM THE 16 PLAYERS WILL BE COUNTED AND VOTES FROM OTHER PPL WILL BE REMOVED.

I am saying 2 legs. We might aswell keep it the same format as the Uefa Champions league, and as you probably all know, in that they play 2 legs.

The issue has been raised of host advantage not making any difference on pes6 and so Away goals shouldnt count, which is a valid point, but these days footballers are so focused on their game that really away goals in real life is becoming a bit of an undeserved rule. I say that we stick with the champions league rules and play the away goals rule. Most of the time Host really doesnt have hardly any advantage at all on pes 6, but occasionally it does. Anyway that is besides the point.

I say stick with the real champions league rules which is:

2 legs
Aggregate score wins
If aggregate score is a draw after both games then extra time is to be played then penalties if still a draw.

In the champions league though, in extra time the away teams goals count double. This is one rule that i dont think should be played. It seems ridiculous in real football let alone on pro evo. Especially since 'Extra time' needs to be a seperate 5 minute match with EX:OFF, Penalties: ON, does it not?

Extra time would be less than 5 minutes in a normal 10 minute game, but yeah its an option to do it that way. All this talk n it would be quite funny if no matches actually come to this anyway! :D

Lol it would be funny. Although i would be surprised..

I think that playing extra time as a 5 minute each way match is the only option unfortunatly. I know that it would be less than that, in fact it would only be 3 minutes each way, but there is no way of getting extra time over aggregate matches otherwise.

As i pointed out in the otehr thread, if a game is 1-0 then 0-1, aggregate score is 1-1, extra time is needed but the game simply recognises it as a 1-0 win. If this happens, and away goals cannot settle the scoreline, then we will need to play a 5 min match with extra time off and penalties on.

You can remove a vote for 2 legs cos I clicked on it before I read that my vote didn't count

although im in favour in playing 2 legs, it could be unfair if lets say a team gets a man sent off or a player is injured in the second leg and it ends in a draw. it means their getting a fresh start if the extra time is gonna be played in a new 5min match.
