HD DVD Drive 360

:) There seems to be stock again of HD DVD drive for 360 I got one to day and it is amazeing best picture I have seen on my tv only one film at present i got SERENITY it is such a jump in picture quality and sound well worth

Just got it yesterday. along with Goodfellas and Unforgiven. and OMG it looks sublime. The only thing is with Goodfellas you still get grainy imperfections from what must be the master copy and the way it was filmed, but its still a stunning picture. Unforgiven looks absolutly stunning, the landscape shots (hills, tree's, streams) really shows off the quality of HD DVD.

Well worth such a small price. Shame HD DVD's are so expensive, although I heard there's no region locking. Anyone know anything about this? and if so whats the best sites to purchase imports?

its true. hd dvd is region free. american discs will work over here

I will be getting more HD DVD Drives in stock in April - this is when the official supplier has been told to expect a shipment from Microsoft.

I got a hd drive from play.com(Sorry nick) but the usb ports were broken. the box looked like it had been kicked from on side of the warehouse to the other. Managed to get a replacement from my local game store. The picture is fantastic, Shame that there only seem to be older fims availble at persent. Its like dvd all over again. Blue ray has more moden titles availble but ture to form no Porn. Why porn you ask?? Because like with vhs and beta, porn wasn't out on beta so vhs won the format. The same will happen with hd vs blue ray. Bar from movies and tv shows, porn is the highest selling media. it sold the internet, vhs, and now sony has shot its self by banning adult films on blue ray.

I hate to promote porno but it will sell the format.

Close, but missing the real reason why porn stuck with VHS - because it was much much cheaper to produce films on. And that is also why HD-DVD has a huge advantage over Blu-ray...

It's true that the porn industry is going for BD, but this format war was over before it started. Ask any ordinary bloke on the street that knows the bare minimum about technology, and he'll definitely prefer HDDVD. It's in the name.
