Yes that's right folks, the arcade smash hit Paperboy is heading to the Xbox live arcade this wednesday. Details were posted on the gamerscore blog about this little present on Valentines Day.

"The coin-op favorite returns but this time its enhanced with original content specifically designed for Xbox Live Arcade. A new multiplayer mode will allow gamers to deliver the paper co-operatively together on the same console, or over Xbox Live. The game also features new artwork that compliments and enhances the original style, and the audio has been modernized for todays high performance sound systems."

This new version includes:
Seven stages (one for each day of the week) and 3 levels of difficulty Easy Street, Middle Road or Hard Way
New Xbox Live multiplayer: The standard multiplayer mode involves two player co-op play which can take place on the same console or over Xbox Live
High scores are tracked on the Xbox Live Leaderboard

So get that bike out of the shed and download Paperboy this wednesday for just 400 points.

There are games in life which I just generally hate for no good reason at all this would be one of them.

I don't like the way the camera is posistioned or the way he throws papers, the graphics are horrible and i'm bad at it :p

Yeah but let's be honest.. DayC > Cat. Paperboy was legendary on the gameboy for a timewaster, don't know if I can be bothered to pay for another XBL arcade game untill they start releasing good ones again. The likes of streets of rage, bomberman and pokemon are on my wanted list.

Of course, pokemon red and blue ftw. Although crystal was probably the best.
