US, February 9, 2007 - Today Sierra Online, a division of Vivendi, announced it is bringing the hit sci-fi show Battlestar Galactica to the Xbox Live Arcade this fall. Fans can hone their Cylon-detecting skills with Galactica gear like Gamer Pics and Themepacks available on the Xbox Live Marketplace starting today.
"NBC Universal is working closely with us so that players will be able immerse themselves in the Battlestar Galactica universe and re-live their favorite missions from the TV series," said Ed Zobrist, president of Sierra Online.
Developed by Australia-based Auran (Trainz), Battlestar Galactica will include both single- and multi-player modes and allow players to fight as either a human or a Cylon in ships that fans of the show will recognize. The game is also slated to be released on PCs.
