XL FIFA09 RULES:
The MatchBox360 XL FIFA09 tournament will follow a World Cup format with group and knockout stages.
Players will be drawn at random into 4 groups with each player playing each other once. The top 4 players from each group will progress to the knockout stage.
Points will be awarded points in the group stages as follows:
Win: 3pts
Draw: 1pt
Lose: 0pts
National teams only. You may choose any National team you wish to use, but must remain with that team for the duration of the tournament.
Players may only make formation changes at the match time intervals.
Substitutions/free kick takers may only be made when the ball is out of play.
Players may bring their own formations on a memory card, but no further data will be permitted. No transfers/created players will be permitted.
The following settings will be used for all fixtures:
Camera Type:
Camera Type: Default Tele (no height or zoom changes)
Stadium Settings:
Stadium: Wembley
Weather: Default
General Settings:
Game Level: World Class
Half Length: 5 Minutes
Game Speed: Normal
Injuries: On
Offsides: On
Bookings: On
Rule Settings:
Extra Time: No (Classic in knockout stage)
Penalties: No (Yes in knockout stage)
Max No. of Subs: 3 Players
Xbox 360 Controllers:
Any controller with turbo or wireless capabilities is not allowed to be used.
3rd party controllers with turbo, auto or macro functions are not allowed.
Keyboard & mouse adapters are not allowed.
Remember, WIRED 360 pads only.
Code of Conduct:
Players must use the same gamertag registered for the duration of all XL tournaments.
No tampering with or removal of any cables or associated hardware.
Players may not remove the audio splitter from the back of the iiyama monitors.
No excessive use of vulgar language by players, coaches or spectators.
No use of vulgar language directed at an opposing player.
Abusive, discriminative, racist or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
No excessive taunting or celebration by players or coaches.
No communication between players and spectators during a match.
No intentional forfeiting or manipulating tournament results.
No unsportsmanlike physical contact.
No throwing objects at another person.
Coaches may not watch opposing teams monitors or projection.
Verbal abuse of XL staff will not be tolerated.
Any player, coach or spectator found to be in breech of these rules will receive a warning.
A second warning may result in disqualification or removal from the venue at the admin discretion.
