MatchBox360 are pleased to confirm that FIFA09 has been added to the official line-up at the forthcoming XL eSports tournament on the weekend 28th - 30th November at Cranmore Park.

Further to the successful launch of the title and demand from the community, FIFA09 will be available as a pay to play tournament with kick-off on Friday 28th November.

Tournament entry tickets priced at just £10 per player are available from the MatchBox360 XL ticket office now. To register simply...

Just one question, does it definitly start on Friday, because I cant justify missing a day of college just to play a game I enjoy and may come top 10 in if only a couple good people turn up :p

If it properly starts on the Sat I might turn up just to see how I do

This will 100% be on Friday and Friday only.

All consoles are fully allocated to 4v4 tournaments on Saturday/Sunday.

Unfortunately this tournament isnt supported by EA so prizes are the same as for all other pay to enter tournaments (ie 100% of tournament entry fees).

If 32 enter, all paying £10, the prize fun is £320.
