Left 4 Dead Demo Goes Public

The Left 4 Dead demo goes public today, Tuesday, November 11 for the PC and Xbox 360. The demo concludes on November 18, when Left 4 Dead will be made available at retail outlets across North America and worldwide via Steam.

Just downloaded it and the intro is somethign else to it, just left me with my mouth open. now going to start playing...

The intro is about the only good thing about the game. I've heard 4player co-op is better but if the game is going to feel like that and play the way it does i hope it £10, i'll only buy it for that price.

Maybe because its not a finished product, but alots gotta change for it to be any good.

Just finished playing the Demo and Jesus that's something else. I admit its the sort of game your pick up and play solid for a week and not play it again but still what a week it would be. the only game that i have ever played that has honestly made me jump and think Jesus WTW SHOOOOOTTTTT !!!

Will be definitely be seeing if i can pick this up on the cheap as for 20 -30 quid i reckon its well worth it.

i filled my trousers atleast twice when i would turn around just to watch a wall get bust down then like 30 zombies pouring in, gives a good buzz, might buy it jus money situation atm probably means i wont be able to

This has to be the best zombie shooter ever!!!! A mix of some of the best zombie types from different films(28 days, Dawn of the dead). The first zombie was the good old shamber, easy to pick off, whats all the fuss about, then round then corner comes three, then four running goul's, jump a mile, then bam, someone in my team gets thrown up on. Mass amount of hell breaks out. Christ i loved it. The A.I wants to eat you, and will find you in droves. Graphic's are abit standard but the amount on screen takes your mind off it. I do have to agree with rev on the 1p(a bit) if you put it on easy its no challage. highest level melts your brain. Its nice to have a horrour game that feels like you in a B-movie. Even the loading poster with your tag on it (Stomping staring as..) is a really nice toach. I'd buy this game today!!!
