Fifa 09 Champions League: Group H Fixtures & Results

Please use this thread to arrange your MatchBox360 FIFA09: Champions League Group H fixtures and reports results accordingly.
You have until midnight Sunday 16th November to play all group fixtures.

You are to play each player in your group twice, a home fixture and an away fixture.

Note: It is not an aggregate scoreline in the group stage.

The host will set up the game and play as the home team.

The GROUP H players are as follows:

Group H:
TI Gaskin - Inter Milan
Ultima Vicious - Man Utd
LSG Hector - Team TBC
Nimac1 - Juventus



Please note: you must remain as the same team for the duration of the tournament.

Please report your results in the following format:

Fixture: player 1 [team] vs [team] player 2
Winner: player 1
Result: 3-2


The top 2 players from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

Ok buddy, you about to play today? Yeah I can assure everyone the whole tournament is randomly generated with a number system. If it wasn't random I wouldn't be doing my job and I would get fired.

1st Game:
Fixture: TI Gaskin [Inter Milan] vs [Juventus] Nimac1
Winner: Draw
Result: 2-2
Comments: Oh my christ, what a game! 1-1 till the 85th minute, I hit the bar with a freekick then work the ball into the net. Then in the 90th minute Nimac crosses it in, my keeper punches it out and Nimac scored with a header from the by line to equalise, then the player got sent off!? Crazy stuff. From kick off I went down the pitch and caused a last ditch tackle and save, amazing game, can't help thinking I should have done better though.

2nd Game:
Fixture: Nimac 1[Juventus] vs [Inter Milan] TI Gaskin
Winner: TI Gaskin
Result: 0 - 1
Comment: Jesus christ. Big Mac's goalkeeper is a beast! I had a lot of pressure, Nimac knows he was holding out for a draw toward the end, took a last minute tap in to get the victory. My finishing was very sloppy, and was very grateful to see that goal finally go in.

Good games mate, most fun I've had on fifa in a long time.

Yes, great games....not sure what the hell that player got sent off for in that first game. Perhaps the referee spotted my over-zealous celebrations that were going on in my living room? :)
I should have ignored your taunts in the dying seconds and just passed it around some more, a few more touches and the point would have been mine! Instead I tried to play it up the line and ended up conceding that corner, in some ways jUstice was served as my 90th minute equaliser in the 1st leg was cancelled out by your 90th minute winner....on the whole though I admit I was under some fierce pressure but thought my defence had been solid enough over the 2 legs to warrant a point.

Hopefully I'll get a result in the next fixtures.............any takers?

Vicious wasn't that bad. He just defended sloppy and brought his keeper out in 1v1 situations, which I took advantage of.

Yh i have 2 consoles now. My brother uses the other one from time to time and because my xbox doesn't read all of my discs i switch 360's sometimes. FIFA is different every game you play being honest. I would never bum the game because i feel it's too inconsistent (like in our first match, the red card you got shouldn't have occurred.) I hadn't played FIFA for a few weeks also before i played Gaskin which didn't help. Gaskin is it me and you that go through now m8? I can't contact LSG Hector.
