Can we just sign up when the event appears on Rankings? Tried registering and was a load of hassle as its looking for a billing address even though the thing is free. I definately plan on entering this event and any others held over the weekend. Do we definately have to acquire a PES2009 XL ticket to gurantee entry?

All players must purchase the XL Admission ticket from the ticket office anyway so you may as well add your PES2009 entry at the same time. It quite literally takes 2 minutes to register on the ticket office which really isnt too much to ask. You cant book your place via the PES Rankings website.

Somebody already purchased the XL Admission ticket for me. I tried to get one of these Pro Evo 2009 tickets through the Ticket Office but so far it hasn't sent anything to my email. I'm just going to print the order from my Ticket Office account and bring it along to XL.
My tag is TI Dark Nex and that's my rankings username too.
Nice job with the prizes by the way mate. Hopefully we will have a lot of people entering this year seeing as it's free. Should be plenty of rankings points up for grabs.
I'm fairly well known on the rankings scene but this is gonna be my first XL, looking forward to it :D

I received your order so please check your junk mail. If you havent received it then it means you would spelt your email wrong in the ticket office as it automatically sends hence why I received it.

Sweet - was just worried that it might fill up before the event, meaning I would miss it.

Aren't you that guy that got banned from PESFan for abusing everybody all the time? Was before my time but heard about it.

Sorry to bother you Konspiracy, just a quick question regarding team selection. Is the team selection going to be Countries like XL4 and XL5 or will it be Club teams that is more often used by big PESRankings events? Or will it be both Clubs and Countries (All Teams) like they do at the PESRankings UK Grand Finals?

Nope, I was the guy that was banned from PESFan as a result of over-zealous moderation and favouritism! Especially considering their final reasoning that I had attempted to access someone else's account - whilst I was on holiday... I had the balls to voice my opinions and they didn't like it - and eventually made up a reason to get rid of me.
Now I spend my time as admin for MB360 with FIFA09, XL with everything, and for EA with FIFA09. Some would call it fate :p;)

QIA.... Pesfan and Pesrankings are pretty much up their own backsides and run by a bunch of amatuers..
I for one will not be attending XL to play in a halfbaked pes event like the last one was...
Pes is garbage this year anyway :)

If it's half-baked and below you, stop parading it on your signature.
On topic: I've signed up to the event, even though I'm part of this year's exodus to FIFA :p I'll see you all at the final!
I'm joking of course. I'm awful at PES, and I love hidden white text.

The only thing half-baked around here is your brain.
Pro Evolution Soccer is absolutely mint offline and will continue to be the best football game for years to come.
Regardless of EA's or Konami's attitude to events or whatever it is you have caught in your hair, PES2009 beats FIFA2009 at LAN without a shadow of a doubt.

What the hell is Thunderbird??
Oh, I always meant to ask you - you know that weird Irish word you use for when someone is being a bit mischevious? What is it? It rhymes with scallion I think.

Hallion...not even sure how you spell it to be honest as it's really a slang word but that will do.....prounounced exactly like scallion only with the H :)
Thunderbird......must be another Northern Irish thing....read the full lowdown on the link below but I particularly like this line
"After all, it is no accident that Thunderbird is a longtime favorite of American winos. The drink was designed and marketed to be a wino wine."
What's all this talk of taking a back seat....bad job but I of all people know were you are coming from. Just make sure I stay on your FL for those non-competitive games Dan.
