The Gears of War 4v4 Execution 4v4 Round 8 and 9 LB fixtures are detailed below.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO PLAY 2 FIXTURES THIS WEEK.

All Round 8 LB fixtures must be played & results reported by Thursday 16th October (default time 8pm Thursday).
All Round 9 LB fixtures must be played & results reported by Sunday 19th October (default time 8pm Sunday).

You are to play a best of 5 map series as specified in the Gears of War 4v4 Rules (http://matchbox360.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=7461).

The Round 8 LB fixtures are as follows:

We would appreciate it if all teams concerned play with good sportsmanship and refrain from the use of any glitches or cheats. Should you believe the opposition has cheated in anyway, then you must supply clear evidence so MatchBox360 admin can take the appropriate action.

Any team found fielding non-registered players is in breach of the MatchBox360 rules and will subsequently be disqualified. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure opponents only play with fully registered team mates. As such, please supply evidence (screen shot or game links) to prove any use of illegal players.

Kon, we posted in the thread and they didn't. Me, Loco and Abs were online yesterday at 8pm (default time). WE posted in the thread, they DID NOT. I went over this with you on MSN before, and if one team doesn't post in the thread OR contact the other team, they get the default loss. They didn't post, and they also made NO effort to contact us.

...it takes more than just posting in a thread to get default win. We expect teams to make an effort to arrange fixtures by contacting the other team and that is why there is a full list of updated GTs available for all teams to refer to so there is no excuse tbh.

We will be making changes to our match arrangement rules for next tournaments as we are all sick of teams trying to get cheap wins and sorting out pathetic arguments.

These things only happen when teams fail to arrange fixtures correctly or cause problems in their games. Tournaments can only be as good as the ppl who take part in them and when we get players/teams who cant follow simple instructions then it causes problems for everyone involved.

You failed to post contact details in the fixture thread to arrange game, and they are saying they were on and you didnt invite them so without proof as stated in the rules then its your word against theirs. As you can understand that does not enable me to make for a fair decision.

These tournaments are only good if teams follow the rules and play with a sporting code of conduct, so the fact that you are now refusing to play the game suggests you are just trying to get a cheap win rather than play them...if thats not the case, then prove me wrong and play the game.
