It would be great if there was fifa09 at XL.Maybe even singles and Team tournaments.Teams especially would be amazing.Its very popular on 09.Discuss

We're trying to make FIFA09 happen. I can confirm FIFA09 will definitely be there as freeplay but we're trying to gain support for an official tournament. Please be patient.

As (former) staff with EA Meet Your Match, I put that question to them in the hope of getting it at XL. Unfortunately I was told that EA 'have other priorities'...

kon i know this may seem silly but why not ask all players currently attending if they would enter a tournament . maybe a cheap entry fee with a smaller prize ie say 5 entry 200 prize i know that i would definatly enter this and alot of my team would also ? a poll on here maybe ?

We want to do FIFA and know there is demand for it, but its not as simple as that mate. In order to add FIFA09 to the tournament lineups we need more consoles and screens as everything has already been allocated to other tournaments. As I have said already, the best we can commit to at this moment is freeplay at some point during the weekend.
