Battlefield: Bad Company gets swamped with updates

Battlefield: Bad Company will be receiving plenty of online updates soon, according to IGN.

First of all, a map pack will be on the way with Acta Non Verba and Par For The Course maps from single player tweaked for online.

Secondly, the leaderboards have been expanded to include 500,000 gamertags rather than 50,000. We're not sure why they were capped to begin with, or why they're still capped now, but oh well. Hopefully the player ranked 500,001 in the world isn't too upset.

There will also be a fix for server and Dog Tag lag, which will help you sleep at night, no doubt.

Finally, the best is saved for last. EA has also handed out codes to unlock three of the five 'pre-order weapons' available. These are:

That and system link, speaking of which, i don't think any EA Games ever had LAN mode to date. (except fifa i think)

I just wonder if these maps will be decent, but i got doubts about it, and it would be good if they did'nt (copy, edit and paste) more maps from single player levels after.

yes it will..But if by then there is no clan support or even whole team voice chat the game will be as dead as a dodo lol.
Lets wait and see hopefully they will as the game has the potential.

Server lag, bolt rifle rate of fire being slow, and semi auto rifles somehow having NO kickback, No loss of accuracy, no wonder.

Im occasionally getting dreadfull lag and im getting bored or the game modes and maps. and no one on my freinds lists is notplaying it anymore (they mostly play halo 3, COD4, and other games i don't own)
