Due to the recent poll on bleed time for this tournament, the rules have been updated to reflect the opinions of the community. As such the rules have now been updated as follows:

2. Any team found fielding non-registered players is in breach of the MatchBox360 rules and will subsequently be disqualified. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure opponents only play with registered team mates. As such, please supply evidence (screen shot or game links) if you to prove any use of illegal players.

6. The tournament schedule is as follows:

1st Round: 6th - 12th February
2nd Round: 13th - 18th February
3rd Round: 19th - 22nd February
Semi-Final & Final: 23rd - 28th February

7. All fixtures will be played using the following format:

- Fixtures will consist of a best of 5 map series in each round of the tournament.
- Each team will host 2 maps and select bleed times accordingly. The home team will receive priority over choice of maps, and each map may only be selected once per fixture (ie upto 5 unique maps to be played).
- Map and bleed time details are to be stated by the team captains in the appropriate match arrangement threads.
- If teams are tied after playing their selected maps (ie 2-2), then the deciding 5th map and bleed time is to be chosen and hosted by the home team (please note: the 5th map does not have to be played if the outcome of the result has already been determined).
- The home team will play as COG for all games, and the away team will play as Locust.

8. All games will be played using the following settings:

Gametype: Execution
Selected Map: Custom Cycle
Number of Rounds: 5
Bleed-Out Duration: 10 or 20 seconds (to be decided by each team)
Round Duration: 5
Friendly Fire: No
Weapons Swapped: No

Please note: It is the responsibility of both teams to ensure the game settings are correct, and by playing in and completing the game you accept the game settings set by the host player.

9. The team drawn as the home team must set up a lobby using the settings above and maps/bleed time selected, then invite the other team captain to join. (please ensure you have sufficient room on your friends list to add / receive friend requests from your opponent).

10. After the 2 maps chosen by the home team have been played, the away team must set up a lobby using the settings above and maps/bleed time selected, then invite the other team captain to join.

11. If a 5th and deciding game is required, then the home team is to set up a lobby as detailed above.

Sounds fair KON;) but what about posting the results into the allocated match result thread.....whos job is it to do it? I am thinking it to obviously be the winning team BUT on the previous set of rules it stated that thelosing team must do it.....which i think will turn out controversial.

It is the responsibility of both teams to make sure that the results are reported correctly. Either team can post them in the required thread, it is up to the other team to check that the result is correct. Any team found deliberately posting incorrect results will be banned from further Matchbox competitions.
