Anybody know a good, reliable wma to mp3 converter they can share there knowledge of please because i wanna put these songs on my phone but they have to be mp3 :(

Um, yeah, pretty much any will do.
Where are you getting these from? If you've ripped cd's then change your rip settings!

never thought of that lol
my pc is a awful though, takes about half an hour to rip a cd and i cant do anything while its ripping cos if i do it'll have loads of skips / jumps in it :(

so you're downloading these then, yeah? The vast majority are usually mp3, so i dunno where you're getting these from :S

nah am still ripping em, i have to click rip then bugger off fer half an hou, then come back again lol thanks for the help.
What are you using to import them?
Grab iTunes, in the options set it to import as 192kbps MP3 (or higher if you have the space - i do 320kbps if I cant get it ripped via FLAC but the sizes are rather large) you can also convert using iTunes as well, it'll now play WMA so just add them into iTunes, right click them and hit CONVERT TO MP3.
All done :D

What you using to rip them? Whatever it is im sure you can change the settings to mp3, so they'll proberbly be better qulaity too!

WMP 11. havent got itunes but even if i did have it, it's hardly make a difference, we got our pc for christmas in 2001!!! its ancient!

iTunes does a better job of it, it's ripping engine is quicker than WMP11's but it is also lighter on CPU usage so you can continue doing other stuff on your computer, oh and you can turn on Error Correction if you are having problems with skipping tracks, it'll take longer but you should get a better copy.
