Please use this thread to arrange your MatchBox360 FIFA08: World Cup Quarter Final fixtures and report results accordingly.
You have until midnight WEDNESDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER to play your fixture.

You are to play your opponent twice as part of any one fixture alternating host accordingly.
The host will set up the game and play as the home team.

The fixtures are as follows:

1. VVV Craig Senna vs Inferno Ren
2. DX MrColl vs Exodus Klash
3. eN W4RGAZM vs St Tomacro
4. TI Sensation vs Silknarcissus

Please note: you must remain as the same team for the duration of the tournament.

I had alot of chances but missed them so.

I played vs Exodus Klash the first match was 1:1 and the secand 3:3 and the 3 Match Exodus Klash wins the game but he make 6 mins per half and not 4 what can i do now.

The worst thing about this site is the deleting of posts and threads and claiming I made no contact I pm'ed the guy yesterday and he never replied to me. He goes through somehow? And many cheats on here and lag. Go on delete another post.

Tip to you mods don't delete posts and threads it only limits your traffic and makes the site look less and less popular.

When posts are deleted, we can still see them. They are deleted from public view because, more often than not, having the public be able to see some of the stuff children on here say would be embarrassing and do the site more harm than good. We don't want potential sponsors, affiliates or new members having to read some of the crap you guys post.

And, as for your other point - how many times do we have to tell you: if you don't post on the forums, we can't tell if you have made contact or not.

You can't do anything. The rules state very clearly that by playing in and completing the match, you accept the rules and hosting conditions set by the host player. If there was a problem with the time of the match, you should not have played it. It is in the rules I'm afraid.

First game was OK - I had a few chances and seemed to take them quite well. A freaky rebound goal was the only opening for Craig, and after that, France were unlucky not to score more, with Henry missing an open goal with not long to go, and Casillas pulling off some wonder saves. Second game, I honestly don't know what happened - I couldn't keep the ball to save my life, kept losing out in midfield and the Spain defense was a rock. Craig got a well deserved goal after 15 minutes, with Fabregas scoring a stunning header from a Villa cross. After that, I'm amazed Spain didn't get more - some truly staggering saves and a whole lot of luck kept France in it, and on the hour mark Henry was on target to score a spinning half-volley after Anelka managed to find space down the wing to cross.

Good player - unlucky in the second game, thought you had me!

Could you not have played when he got back from swimming? He does have kids, it's not quite so easy to just drop everything considering the child probably knew they were going swimming and therefore probably wouldn't settle.

My partner was delayed at work so I had to fill in and take my son swimming last minute.My sons swimming lesson was at 5, u wanted to play at half 4. It takes 15 minutes to get to the pool. So no i couldnt play u then go. This tournament fits around my life, not the other way around. Maybe if i was 15, no girlfriend, yeah, I could have dropped everything to play you.

I can play anytime tonight after 7, and tomorrow after 6. Leave me a time on here and I will be on.

Yes I quit, but surprisingly I had constant messages throughout the game from someone called Oingy22 saying stuff like "a" and "google", no guesses to whose friends list he will be on. It was totally distracting, but I assume that was the aim. Brewster you are a disgrace, getting your friend to message me is blatant cheating, but there is no surprise you would lower yourself to those levels. Your dad needs to kick your f*****g ass.

Renegade, Im sorry but I cannot put up with this rude little child anymore, I will not be entering another matchbox tournament as long as his name appears on it, and Im afraid a few of my friends from this event will be doing the same. He is ruining what is a good site and good tournaments. I dont think anyone should have to put up with the abuse I have taken from him just to get a game played. He even gave me more childish attitude before the game because I wasnt ready to play at ten to 8.

robert1992185/TI Sensation has been removed from the tournament, and all subsequent Matchbox360.co.uk tournaments from this point onwards.

This is due to conduct offenses - both on the forums (despite being on an official warning) and via Xbox Live messages (I told you we would find out!) to players in the tournament, and an accumulation of offenses over the course of our tournaments.

When it comes to other players not wishing to play because of his conduct, I'm putting a much needed stop to it. I apologize to all users that had to put up with any abuse and or trouble.

Silknarcissus - you are through to the next round, the match against TI Sensation is voided since all the evidence was logged before the fixture took place.

Let this be a warning to anyone that wants to mess around - play fair and with respect. Nobody is too big to be kicked out.

Sensation's actions were his own, despite warnings, and not a representation of the team he played for. TI have no negative implications as a result of this decision.

I take it you still have the messages on XBL? Take a screen shot or use a camera to show what times the messages were.

If you think what you have to say is important and valid then please PM Renegade with it, but do not continue to flame the FIFA forums. Other than that I can assure you that any decision that Renegade has made was for the right reasons and he has the full backing of the MB staff.

This is stupid. Someone ELSE was sending Brewster's opponent messages and as a result he gets removed from the tournament? It's not like he has 4 hands and was sending the other messages. Please show me where in the rules it says that this is the case, because if this is the case, they need to get amended. Otherwise, what's stopping me sending messages to Renegade's opponent for example? Absolutely stupid call to be honest. And even if he still has the messages, what difference does that make if it was coming from a different tag? There's no denying that Brewster needs to pipe down on the forums as he's doing himself no favours, but this is quite simply, the wrong call. ANYONE can see that. IMO this is a a case of people letting their dislike for someone cloud their judgement. Unless there's more to the story. This isn't opinion.

Feel free to ban me if anything I've said isn't 100% true.

Klash/Mellow - whether Sensation won fairly or not is not the reason for his banning. He was already on a conduct warning following the last event and was also warned for falsifying results in the last tournament. His conduct and attitude have not improved in this one. He was warned on several occasions to watch his attitude, and failed to do so. I will also let you all know that his forum posts do not make up the entire story, and that these were not the only reason that Sensation was removed. There were other aspects to the decision outside of his posts on Matchbox 360.

I have no dispute at all that Sensation was and is a good player. However, I would rather lose a good player with a bad attitude, if it means that everyone else involved would enjoy the tournament in the way it was intended to be.

The decision is final and will remain so. Any further comments arguing the banning of Sensation will be deleted and not replied to, including Private Messages.

Let's carry on with the tournament and play it in good spirits!
