Bit of a pisstake tbh. I knock out two really impressive players in the Quarters and Semi's, who both drew with Neo ( I think ), this with little to none practice I did. I ****ed up my tactics, made an amatuer mistake, but realisticly, nobody was going to beat Neo, it is his game. It'd take pure concentration on PES for me or anyone to beat him. 2nd place was the best position available. Should have showed the interview we had, Neo being lost for words, so I spoke for him really. <3 Neo, keep it up mate. I'll be back son.

The commentary was harsh, you wouldn't hear Mike saying that about Singh or Vard in the Halo final everytime they died. Very disrespectful IMO. Then again Dan i think he thought you would take it as a joke.

That's exactly what I though - I'm fairly sure (having been chillin' with both of them at the after party :cool:) that they have a banter-style relationship and Gaskin would take it as a joke. It made me laugh, but it's still harsh though, since as Gaskin said, he beat some great players to get that far and it wasn't a whitewash final.

Who said i didn't play the game. I've played both games competitively. Did you assume i didn't play the game because you didn't agree with my opinion. There is a dire lack of teams for the game, you could never arrange a scrim on R6V because of this let alone get teams to turn up so it can be played at XL.

You proberly heard CoD4 had more teams at XL because you didn't attend the event to see for yourself, so if the truth be known your part of the problem not the solution. Although you think your supporting your argument by bring back up proberly the 5th 'bring vegas to XL' discussion, your not. How do you expect Kon to add R6V to the line-up and guarentee R6V players will attend if you don't attend events, help XL hand out by giving them higher prize money to give away, which in turn would attract more sponsors, from more sponsors XL could get more consoles and monitors so they could run other games (R6V if good teams actually played the game, if it wasn't months old).

Don't be silly, if you could guarentee R6V would bring 20 teams to one event you would be running your own events.

With Vegas being as dead is/has been i think your going to need more than a magic trick. Also its quite obvious to most people that play more than 1 game that games that require more to gain points/kills generally will require more skill. I'm all for the who ever randomly see's who first gets the kill but it very much loses its credibility soon after playing.

Allow me to answer your enquiry Recon...

R6V2 isnt at XL as there has never been sufficient community to support the title. We would have liked to have featured R6V2 however Ubisoft declined to support their own title which they admit to being a poor game.

You speak off R6V2 at MLG...please use your common sense and consider why there is an MLG map featured in the game. Did it ever cross your mind that MLG may have an agreement with Ubisoft to feature the game? Only an idiot would try and compare XL to MLG so dont even go there...but I think you'll find we're doing an amazing job considering the major differences in financial support and how long we've been going.

COD4 is a much stronger title than R6V2 and that is why it remains on the tournament lineup. We had 26 COD4 teams at XL4 and 17 at XL5; we have always had over 25 teams for Gears; ...we had about 12 teams for R6V when we featured it at XL last year. I think you should get your facts straight before quoting stats on here.

You seem to have very little knowledge or understanding of the LAN scene in the UK and Europe, so please feel free to send me a message, email or speak to me on msn if you'd like educating on the subject rather than making ignorant posts on this forum.

ps. I think finishing 4th at MLG is a brilliant achievement for the dignitas Gears team.

I speak to the decision makers at Ubisoft on a regular basis and know full well that they are not prepared to support the R6V2 at XL. As you may know, Ubisoft attended XL at release of R6V2 however they did not wish to support it at subsequent events for a number of reasons despite numerous discussions on the subject. I do not need excuses when I have facts, however please feel free to send me the contact details of the person you spoke to via PM and I will investigate your claims.

As I have already stated, we had 25 x COD4 teams at XL4 then 17 at XL5...over 45 x Halo3 teams at both the last events. I know for a fact that the R6V2 community could not even come close to those figures, and your pathetic childish posts will not convince me otherwise.

Umm Tell you what, if they are bad games, how about we check how many copies of R6V2 have sold up against H3 and CoD4 and the community behind both.

H3 will have an immensly greater backing forever and always. End of.
CoD4, even whilst DYING has a better backing than R6V2.
