i use a capture device called ADS Pyro A/V Link.

its a external device witch connects to the pc thru firewire.

it has a component input on so i split my 360's component cables to the TV and to the PYRO and record in 480P as thats the only HD'ish setting the card does

Really nice montage the music went very well with the simple editing style, loved it!

And you must have the newer version of the pyro because I remember back on H3F.com they never used to support component input, looks pretty good.
