Hey,

Im in online event with my team is this like a practice. Then 7th September sign up will start and we can then buy tickets for lan? Which means you do online tournament before then you can join LAN. Also how much will it cost to be in 4v4 cod 4 LAn. Including tickets to get in and for tournament?

Online events are just as competitive as LAN, these are just free to enter tournaments we do to keep our community busy and ensure you guys are keeping busy with your competitve side, some people see this as a warm up for XL, some people are in these to win and be known as the winner, others use these as something fun to do. Either way im sure you have entered to show how good you and your team are at the game and are doing something you all love so good luck in the online event :)

As Minx has stated, the online tournaments are a totally individual to LAN events, we simply host them to keep you guys in competitions and boost the console competitive scene.

MB360 (Matchbox 360) first started by launching online tournaments before moving to LAN events - it is great to see the people you've been owning online :D

There is actually more information to come regarding the tournaments and pricing. To answer your question about cost of entering COD4 4v4 at XL, it will cost each player £45 (admission ticket £30 and tournament entry £15).

In general, all team tournaments are £15 per player and single player tournaments are £10. Admission for players and spectators is £30 for the 3 day weekend.
