Its a demo and maybe not a finished game...Rent it when it comes out and think about it then.

I thought it was ok, room for improvement but that was only 1 level.

i didnt like that fact that when you hit someone the game seems to pause waiting for your next move which pissed me off, lack of dis-emberment, Jedi knight 2 had it! one button control scheme is shite aswell. theres other stuff i cant tinhk of right now...

I've always been a massive Star Wars fan, since I was a little kid, I've loved more or less all Star Wars games. Seen all the movies, have all the movies on DVD.

I've been hyped as anything about the new game when I first saw the annoucment and teaser trailers!
I downloaded the demo as soon as it came out, I personally enjoyed the game, because there hasn't really been any previous SW games where you really can "unleash the force" in any way you want.

You've had glimpses of that feeling, but never anything where you've got total control over what you do, how you do it, when you do it, and who you hurt//kill whilst doing it. I like the ragdoll-ish effect on the bodies when you lift them with the Force, I do definately think the game could be better.

But everyone has to remember, when you slate demo's, you're only slating a "promotional" version of the game, just to give a taster, its not the full game, you've not got full powers, full skills, nothing.
You're only on the basics of the game, and it is a fun game to play. I think when the full game comes out that it really will shine, they do need to change a few things like the movement of the character, that's quite dodgy, and the ragdoll effect, they could make quite a few more realistic changes to that!

Just remember, it is only a demo you've played, there's still alot of potential for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed!

so clsoe to the release date i fail to see this. it doesnt matter wether or not you et better force powers or new force powers during the game. i tihnk the majority of people on here are more concerned with the game mechanics i.e. movement as youve mentioned and actual feel to the game. i personally was sjut lookign forward to this being a 'next-gen' SW game but i think ill jsut wait for Battlefront 3 or the rumoured KOTOR 3

Yeah I know exactly what you mean bud, like I said the movement is pretty poor, and another good point that you mentioned, the feel of the game, which is one thing I forgot to mention earlier.
Although I liked the demo, it was an entertaining game to be honest, but as you said, the feel of the game doesnt really feel like Star Wars, it does feel like some kind of arcade game.

All in all though, I think when they release the final version of the game, the game will be pretty decent.
We all hope anyway.

And a rumoured KOTOR 3 just got me rather excited, I'd not heard about that! I'd love to see a new KOTOR brought out, I loved that game with an absolute passion!

~I enjoyed it, movement was fine for me. the powers were pretty sweet to use. i found combos quite good to do also.
