Anyone else played this yet?

I think it's a cracking game and i've read loads of good reviews about it as well. Bit pricey and the guy who created it has said that M$ kinda screwed a lot of us out of more of a game and that there wasn't going to be a sequal. For those of you who don't know anything about this game it's a bit of a strange one.

You play as Tim who is trying to find his princess. with the ability to rewind time and a world which is strangely affected by time. Think Sands of time but with more puzzle than action. There is a great twist at the end and the only downside is the length of the game really, i'd say to complete the whole game and speed runs it takes around 10 hours. I'm gonna go back through it to find the alternate ending and all the secrets.

I highly recommend downloading and trying the demo as it is quite expensive at 1200M$ points. But it is one of the best games i've played this year and the story is just so intricate, it made it a pleasure to play. Reminded me a lot of Cloning Clyde with the originality and amazing gameplay.

dont play this whilst pissed, it will stress you out to death. however, tis a quality game although it does have a hefty price tag

I will buy this when it comes down in price for it is certainly a great game. but yes it is a stupid price 1200ms points for an arcade game is always a joke.

The trouble though with Clone Clyde although it was a great game was there wasn't enough to it, the dam thing was over before it started

Yea that's kinda the trouble with braid. Although if you want to get the full story it takes a lot longer and multiply play throughs don't get boring either. It does feel like a short game for the price you are paying but its quality, not quantity.

This is a great game. i have done all the worlds and unlocked the speed run thing, but id be damned if im gona rush through it. its hard enough takeing your time, let alone runing it in under 45 mins. and the stars i didnt even know about these WTF is up with these ? do you need to collect them ? does it change the story at all ? ill consider trying to get them some time if its worth it.

I'm gonna be playing back through the game again to get all the stars. Basically, it changes the route you take at the end of the game or something. Gonna do it just to find out whats different, its not like its a chore to play this game. lol. The speed run is a pain but doable if you're good man.
