Hi, thinking of getting one...
1) Is it still amazing graphics/console in general if I'm just using a scart like I did with the original Xbox? Does it come with one? Will the graphics still look tons better than the original? Do most people not use an HDTV?
2) If I bought the core, am I really missing out? Or is the only real thing I'm missing a hard drive, which you can buy, and attach, and then it looks and functions exactly the same as the premium? Or is it slightly more dodgy adding the HD later?
Thanks,
Ben.

Wow, you're actually thinking of getting a 360?
Personally I wouldn't recommend anyone to get a core console. Just by buying a HDD and a headset would set you back another

In English please? Tee hee.
If you ever upgrade to a HDTV then you need to go and buy a HD lead unless you buy the premium sku.

Well i have both and i only really got the core pack as i aleady had the leads, HDD etc. thinking of getting connected to XBL? then a premium pack is a must as you dont get cables nor headset with a core.
Whatever pack you do choose, the AV cables included will never be a true SCART/RGB connection unless you buy the offical M$ one (which i would highly recommend if you play in standard or ehanced defination), all you get to connect with in both packs are s-video really.
Whatever you do make a 360 your next gen purchase - mate has a ps3 (NSTC/NA) and from what i have seen and played it's rubbish

So whatever pack I get, I'll only get the Red White And Yellow cables, but not the scarty bit which you plug all 3 into?
Also surely it's not difficult to buy a Headset later, especially as I already have an Ethernet cable from the original Xbox?
Don't think the scart adapter is included, not difficult to buy a headset later, however, add up a headset and a memory unit takes you to

I bought the premium and it has a scart cable/connector.
As said before, buy the premuim as you will get so much more. Memory Units really aren't worth it.
Can you just use the scart adaptor you get with the Xbox?
Yeah you can, a scart adapter is a scart adapter :P
But as Cat said, just get the premium, you'll be much happier.
