Stupid disc!

Last night, i was playing Gears of War online and just before i got into a game, an error message came up saying that my 360 cannot read the disc; try cleaning etc. So i did, and i cant play the game now cause this message keeps coming up!

Anyone know what i can do?

Maybe there is something wrong with the 360 lens.

If it's under warranty send it in for repair.

Hmm then that is really wierd, do you have a disc cleaner at all? Always worth a try.

EDIT: Seems a lot of people are getting this error with gears, search around google to see if there is a solution but you might just have to put up with it.

Yo the same thing happens me but its because ive got a scratch on the disc somehow. I can play online though its just at a certain bit of campaign it comes up on

Exactly the same thing thing happened to me today :mad:, Can't play through Act 4-2 now (Annoying as I was going through it on Hardcore) but the wierd thing is I can play every other Act!!!

Is it worth getting the disc cleaned by someone like Three-R??

Check for cracks round the inside of the disc.

The 360 broke my first copy of gears, it cracked in 3 places from the center going outwards.

Same here, They must just be in exactly the wrong places :eek:
