Players will be seeded off the last event only as its quite simply impossible to track players with all the XBL GT, team changes and amendments.

Weapon slide is allowed online and at XL.

Prizes tbc. We do a lot of tournaments as you can see, so cant provide prizes unless we are able to secure them. Any prizes will be announced accordingly.

Little confused about seeding.

Will it be done via the last matchbox online GoW tourney or the XL event in Birmingham?

Also since its done via seeding surely any teams who register with 6 people SHOULD get a higher team than one which only registers 4 people?
If you could clear that up for me please that'd be great.

Seeding is done from online where possible for online events, however sometimes we use XL seedings depending on the relevance of the tournament. For this tournament:
Teams will be seeded based on performance in the previous MatchBox360 online tournament. Any teams who did not take part will be seeded at random.
Teams will be seeded off highest 4 seeded players not all 6 in squad.

At the risk of missing something somewhere, I was just wondering when we'd be contacted regarding our matches and how this would happen? (Via e-mail etc?) Any reply would be graciously received.

Fixtures are posted in the forum and you arrange matches with opponents at a mutually convenient time. You have 7 days to arrange n play your fixture. Please check previous Gears of War tournament forum to see how it works.

Please note: if teams are unable to agree a mutually convenient time for their fixture then the default time for each fixture will be Sunday at 8:00pm unless otherwise stated. Any team who do not show at this time (as per no show rules stated below) will be deemed to have forfeited the fixture.

next brackets go up tomorrow the default time for this match is 8pm tonight the results must be post by 12am no extentions can be given, granted the fact its first to 3 why couldnt you just continue. you cannot play it tomorrow!!

no one else is entitled to an extention so im afraid you cant have one either, it clearly states in bold no extentions will be given so im sorry i cannot make an exception for you.

Hello I have a problem because one had envisaged with the other leader “DoomzDaay” to play the match Saturday 20/09/08 but the TEAM Toy Soldiers was not Saturday there. I still contact the leader and he says to me that it is afflicted and that Sunday 21/09/08 will be played.
We are Sunday and all the TEAM Toy Soldiers except the leader is offline. What do I have to make? I have the evidence.
