Do i need to buy anysort of adaptor do get it working? ? Does it have a scart socket which i can plug my xbox in ( its the ones we used at XL5 )

You will need a VGA cable (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xbox-360-Audio-Video-Cable/dp/B000AYYADE) - the official MS cable is a decent choice but they can be found much cheaper on Ebay or if you shop around. I used an unofficial one for a while but it kept falling out of the monitor, so I bought an official one which has been brilliant.

The thread that Spindryer posted states that you need a 3.5mm Phono-Headphone converter/adapter. You don't - the Iiyama monitors have the red/white phono inputs that you need to plug the cable into.
