The NETGEAR Halo 3 4v4 Winner's bracket Final fixture must be played & results reported by Friday 22nd August Midnight. (Although I am fairly certain this will be played before.)

You are to play a best of 5 series as specified in the NETGEAR Halo 3 4v4 Rules. (http://community.matchbox360.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6576) Please read the rules to become familiar with the hosting issue.

The maps and gametypes to be played are (In order):

Game 3 - Team Oddball - Guardian
Game 4 - Multi Flag - Onslaught
Game 5 - Team Slayer - Construct

Please note: we would appreciate it if all teams concerned play with good sportsmanship and refrain from the use of any glitches or cheats. Should you believe the opposition has cheated in anyway, then you must supply clear evidence so MatchBox360 admin can take the appropriate action.

Any team found fielding non-registered players is in breach of the MatchBox360 rules and will subsequently be disqualified. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure opponents only play with fully registered team mates. As such, please supply evidence (screen shot or game links) to prove any use of illegal players.

We urge players to use this thread to record all happens of when they will be playing their fixture as it helps us if a team calls a no-show. Try and keep any Emails/PMs or MSN logs which have any information that proves when you agreed to set up your Match. If neither team submits a result then your fate will be decided by the Events team and both teams could be thrown out of the competition.

Ok so, we ran to this very unfortunate situation. Baadshah rented an xbox for this night and we were supposed to play 8pm GMT this evening. Just when we were about to play EreKtus ran out of batteries and he had to go buy some more. It took a while he came back and vVv had to leave because Baadshah had to return his xbox 9pm (wich is one hour, maybe not enough for 5 games...) So can we get extension for the start of next week so we could play this. I honestly dont think that winners bracket final goes like this, gaskin, i hope that we can re-arrange this.

Im sure that we can arrange this with vVv. Winners bracket Finals is not a game that can go like this. Couple days is not much, many teams have gotten like week extension, why not us?

If as the home team, there is no response from your opponent for up to 15 minutes after the agreed scheduled start time then the game will be declared a "no show", and the home team will receive a default win and progress to the next round.

All of our players were in the game within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Which was 8PM. We waited till 8:42PM. Before contacting a ref.

Why would you want a default win from the winners bracket final match? It's now more important than ever to find out the better XBL team. Extensions have been given throughout this tournament so I don't think this match should be an exception.

Both team captains are to contact me immediately.

I am aware of most of the details regarding this game, and would like to get a resolution sorted asap. All players entering online tournaments are required to have working consoles, however we are aware that hardware failures do occur and unfortunately this has obviously affected both teams. A player having to return a console to Blockbusters is not covered in our rules and its fair to say that the game would have been played after EreKtus had returned from his battery problem.

At the end of the day, this is the WB final of an online tournament sponsored by Netgear with £700 cash prizes, and as such the game is to be played and a default win will not be awarded. This is the final decision and I would appreciate it if both teams understand and respect this decision with common sense and sporting conduct in mind. Please contact me with availabilities so this fixture can be rescheduled accordingly.
