The NETGEAR Halo 3 4v4 Loser's bracket 8th round fixtures must be played & results reported by Thursday 14th August

You are to play a best of 5 series as specified in the NETGEAR Halo 3 4v4 Rules. (http://community.matchbox360.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6576) Please read the rules to become familiar with the hosting issue.

The maps and gametypes to be played are (In order):




Game 1 - Multi Flag - Narrows
Game 2 - Team Slayer - Construct
Game 3 - Team Oddball - Guardian
Game 4 - Multi Flag - Onslaught
Game 5 - Team Slayer - The Pit

Note: The red star (*) indicates the higher seed.

Teams will be competing for a top 4 placing.

Please use this thread to arrange your fixtures in the following format:

Please note: we would appreciate it if all teams concerned play with good sportsmanship and refrain from the use of any glitches or cheats. Should you believe the opposition has cheated in anyway, then you must supply clear evidence so MatchBox360 admin can take the appropriate action.

Any team found fielding non-registered players is in breach of the MatchBox360 rules and will subsequently be disqualified. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure opponents only play with fully registered team mates. As such, please supply evidence (screen shot or game links) to prove any use of illegal players.

We urge players to use this thread to record all happens of when they will be playing their fixture as it helps us if a team calls a no-show. Try and keep any Emails/PMs or MSN logs which have any information that proves when you agreed to set up your Match. If neither team submits a result then your fate will be decided by the Events team and both teams could be thrown out of the competition.

Considering in Losers Bracket Rd. 7 Remix won and we won, why are we not playing each other this round? i.e. how are Dignitas and Quarter Eulogy suddenly in LB?

It says Dignitas or quarter Eulogy, because they're playing in the WB semi's. That's how a bracket works, trunk..

For example

LB 7: LB Team 1 vs LB Team 2
LB Team 3 vs LB Team 4

LB 8:
LB Team 1 vs WB Team 1
LB Team 3 vs WB Team 2

LB 9: Winners of LB 8 play.

LB 10 (LB Final) play the loser of the WB Final.

Yo Gaskin, this is Wednesday and we still don't know who we're playing... I can play tonight but not thursday, I thought this would have been ok as we'd have other days to arrange it for but its looking like we're not going to have our full team playing cos 2 other teams are behind schedule. Anyway, the upshot of what I'm trying to say is - if we can't get the other team (qE or Dignitas) on tonight - can we have an extension for this match, till Saturday/ Sunday when I can play?

Hi all, I’m posting here in order to explain the Oxz little pblm,

As you can see they are not very good in English, that’s why I’m here as the spokesman (even if my English is not as perfect as a bilingual).

At first they had a problem with the team VVV that asked a No-Show, it is sad to see this happen at this level of gaming but it is the rule and we’ve nothing to say about it (even if we can always debate about who is wrong etc. but it’ll be very puerile and not interesting).

Right now the team Oxz is pretty far in the tournament and the teams that played them will be able to say that they are pretty good and that they totally have their chance to win this tournament. This is why they are pretty sad and telling on our forum (Halorigine, the French Matchbox version) that they don’t have the same chances than others.
About the future game they have to play, they just learned 2days ago that they were in Loser Bracket. You have to understand that they are not bilingual and sometimes need more time to understand things.

Every French players are looking forward this situation and we all support this team which represent our level of gaming  We all really hope the future game will happen and let the best team win of course! For me not letting this game being played at this moment of the tournament will be an error (with that much money to win!).

First of all, demandz, without being mean, dont even try to denie the fact that you guys are trying to get a no-show win by talking stuff ( dont know if it's real or not ) and because you're facing a french team.

I have two of the xplicits in my friend list and i know that both of them were online at that time when you were supposed to play the game, unfortunatly i don't have any proof to back it up.

Both of the teams are saying that the other one is lying, well why don't we forget that and play the game another day, you know you guys want to beat the french team :D
