Please use this thread to arrange your MatchBox360 FIFA08: World Cup Group H fixtures and reports results accordingly.
You have until midnight SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST to play all group fixtures.

You are to play each team in your group twice as part of any one fixture alternating host accordingly.
The host will set up the game and play as the home team.

The GROUP H teams and players are as follows:

Please note: you must remain as the same team for the duration of the tournament.

Winner: team 1
Game 1 Result: 3 - 1
Game 2 Result: 2 - 3
Aggregate Score: 5-4

The top 2 teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

Both games I hit the bar twice lol. The first game was really tight, a draw would have represented the game better. Whereas the second game I was a lot tighter at the back, didn't foolishly chase tackles like I did in the first game. Made too many mistakes in the first game, hence why I conceded four. Although credit to the lad, he knows how to run with an individual player, it's always how he got me, brilliant skill. I can't do it for **** on Fifa, I didn't think it was possible to run past a defender on this game lol.

I sent him an Xbox Live message tonight, with no reply. Unfortunately, none of our reserves are replying either...

He's on my list, but just sends me messages about scrimming on GoW, obviously to all friends. Mr Nutt told me he wants some practice before playing me, when we were both on and could have played. I don't even bloody play this game, nor practice, I literally just turn up to each match unpracticed to play for these events lol.

really hope shredder and nutt dont decide to turn up saturday and sunday and just expect to play, thay have had nearly two weeks to play these games, and have been on xbox live playing the whole time, nutt has even been playing fifa.

I have the same problem mate - both of them are in my 2v2 group. If they won't respond there isn't much I can do. If they simply turn up and request the game I will be annoyed. If I can stretch the deadline to make sure the games get played I will do, but if not it won't help their cause when we make the decision of who gets the default wins.

Let's put it this way - you've been here attempting to arrange your games. They haven't.

Comments: Good games, but was a bit annoying that he claimed I was lucky on the game, when he scored via a corner, via a defender clearing it, but that clearing deciding to go 1cm and giving the ball away and one where I tackled him, the ball bounced back into his path and he scored. >.<

Good player, but not a convincing victory! :p

Any chance of a time nutt? You have been on xbox live today so you must have seen my message asking if 8 is ok, a reply would be nice, I really dont want to have to keep turning my xbox on to see if your on. So please use this forum and give me a time, I can play anytime tonight up to the deadline, Im just not prepared to sit in front of the tv waiting for you. Im not being rude just have some consideration for other people in your group. You sent me a message on xbox live at 9:30 this morning saying "we have to play tonight" please be more specific!!!

second game my xbox crashed but give him a 3-0 ( score at the time )

tbh sick of fifa i dont get any luck in tackles its ****ing stupid i know we all won 1 game each but send gaskin and silks thought as tbh i cba with fifa 08
