This section of the forum is a public record of the moderation actions given to the users of this board. There will be no posts in this section, other than notifications of moderation actions. If you have received an infraction, and you wish to dispute it then please take it to Razor, a super moderator. His decision is final. Disputes sent to any other member of staff will be ignored.
Points/Infractions : For every violation of the forum rules, an infraction will be given to a user. All the usual ones: Trolling, Flaming, Abusive actions, etc are worth one point. For more serious things, we may give two or more points. For less serious things, we'll give an infraction worth 0 points, as a warning. Infractions can be given by any of the moderation or administrative staff.
Points stay in effect for 10 days, so if you are on the receiving end of an infraction, this point becomes attached to your profile for ten days. Points are cumulative, so if you receive 2 infractions in 3 days, you will still have 2 points up until 10 days after you gained the first one, and then the second will be removed 10 days from the point you received that.
If it gets to the point where you have 3 points on your profile, you will receive an automatic 3 day ban. Should you come back from your 3 day ban, and receive another infraction before the first point has been removed from your profile, so that you have 4 points, you get another automatic 4 day ban, and so on.
Current Infraction-worthy actions:
Trolling: Creating arguments for the sake of it, trashing threads for no good reason, entering into debates with no supporting information. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, if someone disagree's with you it is entirely in their right to do so. Debate maturely and respect the opinions of others. Try to provide evidence for your arguments this way your opinions will be more respected by the community.
Spamming: Creating many posts where there is no need: 'looooooooooolz' is not an acceptable post, nor is 'I don't care'. If you don't have something worthwhile to say, don't say anything at all.
Advertising: We do not accept any kind of advertising without pre-approval from an administrative staff member. The administrative staff are:
FiveOhOne
Duke87
neyo
Konspiracy
Inappropriate Language: Self explanatory
Insulting Other Members: Flaming and personal attacks will not be tolerated. At all.
We will continue to update this list as and when we see fit.
If you see any post in violation of the above rules, do not directly reply to it in the thread, but instead use the report post option located on the top right corner of each post to notify the moderation staff.
While these are not infraction worthy actions, they serve as a guide to happy posting:
1) Read up before asking! Somewhere there is more or likely an answer to any of your questions
2) Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered somewhere. Don't double post, although their are a few exceptions to this, use the edit button. You can edit any of your previous posts if you forget to add something. If after a 24 hour period no one has replied to your post you may 'bump' the thread once.
3) Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forums before you post, if you must, to get to know the standards of the forums.
4) Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted. Keep topics relevent to each forum please.
5) Be nice to each other and respect the moderating and administrative staff. Crude language and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member try resolve things in private, rather than publically on the forums. If things get out of hand, flag it to the moderating staff via a PM or eMail.
6) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated. We do not support Modding or cheating of any kind on MB360.
7) Keep the size of personal images down to 400 * 100 and do not use animated ones, please.
8) No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
9) Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention to them.
10) Do not send questions pertaining to topics of discussion on this board via personal messages or email to staff, they will be ignored.
11) Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member or the size of any parts of your anatomy.
12) How NOT to post on the MB360 forums:
Five minutes after your initial post you reply to your own post writing something like "Why is nobody helping me? I'm sure you know the answer". Or once somebody replies to your thread but doesn't give you exactly the answer you've been expecting you insult them.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, if someone disagree's with you it is entirely in their right to do so. Debate maturely and respect the opinions of others. Try to provide evidence for your arguments this way your opinions will be more respected by the community.
13) Common sense and accurate spelling go a long way.
14) Instructions from the MB360 administrative team are to be followed to the letter.
The MB360 team reserve the right to edit these rules at any time. FiveOhOne also reserves the right to do whatever he damn well pleases, when ever he sees fit.
