Super Pickup's

Can everyone vote if they would like to have super pickups on or off.

Its best to get this put to bed as most of us want to practise for the tournament.

If pickups were on then it would be down to a 'gentleman's rule' in that only the Sheild Belt would be in play. All others would be banned. Armor and health veils/balls would still be allowed.

If pickups were off, Armor and health veils/balls are still on regardless.

Not going to vote on this myself as I'm happy for either.

The issue for me, especially for online, is ensuring players abiding by the gentleman rules not to pick them up and the obvious claims that someone picked them up if they lose.

Hopefully players and refs have enough common sense to ensure this doesnt happen at XL.

Thing is, I dont mind Udamage so much, because I can still kill them, but if they have invulnerability then it completely ruins the match.

I voted no but having never played UT before I have no idea where any of the stuff is so it might be an idea to try and get some maps up highlighting where they are?

If were talking online id say ON simply because its hard to moniter it with out ppl recording.

At XL id say have a gentlemans agreement of everything not allowed to be picked up other that Jump Boots and Sheild Belt. if jump boots get taken out you might aswell not play shangrila, and if you take out belt you might aswell not time anythign so the whole point of the game is taken out.

Shield belts are the worst part of 1 vs 1. Other pick-ups i don't mind.

There growing on me and i can't be arsed saying why there so bad if you played Halo 2 H2H you'd know.

The timings of the Super pickups is what makes UT3 Duel...you cant compare UT3 to Halo2/3, and without them you're playing an average FPS. Thats just my opinion.

I think both shield belt and jump boots should be allowed.
