Console Updates

Now and then we get an update for 360 but no info on why what where etc.

Anyone know where i can get the info from as to whats been updated???

There have been a few updates now. The last major update October last year (I think) changed the Dashboard around and fixed several bugs.

The was an update maybe 1 1/2 months ago that was just fixing bugs in the Dashboard.

Then I don't really know where you would find information about older updates though.

Cheers carocat. Not interested in older updates, just recent ones. Like u said, there was 1 about a month ago but dunno wot it fixed???

They didn't realease any info about it, it was just to fix several issues. It is unusual as they generally spread the word about every new update....

MajorNelson had said it was bug fixes if I remember rightly, there were issues with 1080p over component on a number of TVs so I think they fixed that and a few other bits and bobs, no new features so no need for masses of info really.

Previous updates have been for 1080p support, Xbox Live Video Marketplace, the vision cam and wheel, and a few other niceties.

since that update, my system has'nt crashed. so it must have fixed something.

hmm mines still crashes out with gears of war, but i opened the sucker up and removed the metal heatshield in the case and now it hasnt crashed in a about a week.
