Exactly what will you need in order to play in the tournament apart from tickets. Im talking Pads, mics, Halo 3, headsets etc..... Will you need to bring your own equipment?

You won't need to bring Halo 3 - we provide the games for each tournament.
You will need a wired pad, any headset/headphones you want to use (you don't have to though), and if you want to bring a mic you can do (again, optional). Aside from that there really isn't much else you need to bring.
Just remember to label everything as your own, in case you manage to lose it somewhere!

You only need to bring your controller. Other hardware such as headphones/headsets are optional but not necessary.

@ xellenta - if you cant print off the confirmation, please remember your unique order number and bring ID so we can verify you are the correct person collecting tickets.
@ plum - its personal preference. Obviously sound quality through headphones is better than monitor speakers.

I know this isnt meant to be in this thread but I can't find the other ones lol. Do the fixtures for the 4 v Halo tournament get arranged at the event or do they get arranged before Birmingham and you can actually see them before we get there?

The fixtures are based on seedings from the last event and the FFA taking place on the Friday. As such, exact fixtures will not be available till the event.

No - the plug and play kit does not stop the wirless frequency, it just provides power to the charge pack. The pad is still working wirelessly.

Your are not allowed to use wireless pads even with play and charge kits. If you read the rules threads you would of seen this posted.
Anyone found using wireless pads at XL runs the risk of being forfeited or DQ'd from a tournament.

As long as you dont unplug the audio cables from the monitors then you can use TBs. Anyone found doing that will be banned from using headphones. More info in the XL Headphone FAQ (http://community.matchbox360.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6913).
