XL CALL OF DUTY 4 FFA TOURNAMENT RULES:

The MatchBox360 XL Call of Duty 4 FFA will follow a single elimination knockout format.
Players will be drawn into groups of 8 based on seedings from the previous event. Any players who did not attend will be placed at random.
The first player drawn to each group will play on the host console.
The top 4 players from each group will progress to the next round. All players placing below 4th will be eliminated from the tournament.
Ties will be determined in the following order: Points, Kills, Deaths
In the event of players still being tied, a single 5 minute head to head cage knife match on Shipment will determine the placing of the tied players.
The final will be played over 3 consecutive rounds. The player with the overall highest score individually from the final will be declared the XL Call of Duty 4 FFA Champion.
All fixtures will be played using the following settings:

Map: Strike

FFA Options:
Time Limit: 15 minutes
Score Limit: Unlimited

Team Options:
Spectating: Disabled
Wave Spawn Delay: None
Force Respawn: Enabled
Radar always On: No

Player Options:
No. of Lives: Unlimited
Respawn Delay: 5 seconds
Max Health: Normal
Health Regen: Normal
Allow Killcam: Disabled
Allow Sprint: Enabled

Gameplay Options:
Headshots Only: Disabled
Allow Perks: Disabled
Allow Air Support: Disabled
Old School Mode: Disabled
Hardcore Mode: Disabled

Weapon Restrictions:
No use of P90
No use of Attachment: Grenade Launcher *

* Please note: the use of the P90 and grenade launcher is not allowed.
Any player found using the P90 (Close Quarters class) will be disqualified.
Any player found using the grenade launcher attachment (Grenadier class) will be disqualified.

General Rules:
All games will be ended by tournament admin at 15 minutes (games will be set to 20 minutes).
All players must end play immediately after the 15 minute duration and place pads on table whilst results are collected.
No quitting out of a game in progress. If you quit out of an FFA you will not be allowed to rejoin.
The use of any of the weapon restrictions listed above will result in disqualification.
All players must use the default classes available as listed above. You may not use memory cards with customised Call of Duty 4 profiles.
Any performance of known glitches or map exploits is not allowed.
Any player found accessing areas outside the normal boundaries of the map will be disqualified.
Communication with other players or spectators during tournament play is not allowed.
No watching another players screen.
Intentionally giving away kills will result in disqualification.
In the case of a hardware malfunction, the game will be restarted if less than 5 minutes has passed. If more than 5 minutes has elapsed then the tournament referee will make an informed decision based on the scores at the time of disconnection.
Any player found tampering with hardware will be disqualified.
If players are more than 5 minutes late for a scheduled match then they forfeit the game.
If a game is started without the referee's approval then the game will be restarted.
Breakage of any rules may result in a disqualification and is at the referee’s discretion.


Seeding Information:
Players will score points based on their success in the FFA to determine the seeding for their respective Call of Duty 4 5v5 team if not already seeded from the previous event.
Teams must enter a minimum of 2 players in the FFA in order to qualify for seeding.
Teams may enter as many players into the FFA as they choose to so upto a maximum of all 5 members of the 5v5 team.
Only the scores from the top 2 players from each team will contribute to the 5v5 team seeding.
Seeding points are allocated as follows:

1st = 8pts
2nd = 7pts
3rd = 6pts
4th = 5pts
5th = 4pts
6th = 3pts
7th = 2pts
8th = 1pt


After round 2, the allocated points increase by increments of +1 (ie round 3 first place receives 9pts, round 4 they receive 10pts, etc).
FFA Final: 8 remaining players to a best of 3 game series. Players will continue to score points for their seeds as well as themselves.
The player with the overall highest score individually from the final will be declared the FFA Champion.
In the event of a tie, a single head to head cage knife match will be used to determine the placing of the tied players.

Xbox 360 Controllers:
Only WIRED Xbox 360 control pads may be used. Wireless pads are NOT allowed to be used.
Any controller with turbo or wireless capabilities is not allowed to be used.
3rd party controllers with turbo, auto or macro functions are not allowed.
Keyboard & mouse adapters are not allowed.

Code of Conduct:
Players must use the same gamertag registered for the duration of all XL tournaments.
No tampering with or removal of any cables or associated hardware.
Players may not remove the audio splitter from the back of the iiyama monitors.
No excessive use of vulgar language by players, coaches or spectators.
No use of vulgar language directed at an opposing player.
Abusive, discriminative, racist or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
No excessive taunting or celebration by players or coaches.
No communication between players and spectators during a match.
No intentional forfeiting or manipulating tournament results.
No unsportsmanlike physical contact.
No throwing objects at another person.
Coaches may not watch opposing teams monitors or projection.
Verbal abuse of XL staff will not be tolerated.
Any player, coach or spectator found to be in breech of these rules will receive a warning.
A second warning may result in disqualification or removal from the venue at the admin discretion.

The following rule changes have been made and will be implemented at XL:

FFA Options:
Time Limit: 15 minutes

These rule changes will make life easier for tournament admin to collect results due to the result page only displaying for a few seconds at end of game, and provides better value for money for all players competing.

will the final be 3 sets of 15mins then ? like 45mins total? or just 2 rounds making it 30mins like last XL
