Is there any chance of a online halo 3 1v1 tournament?
I wouldn't want it to replace any other halo 3 tournaments but I think it would be a good addition

We'll be introducing ladders soon so Halo3 1v1 can be added no problem :cool:

Yeah i share a huge love affair still with 1v1s on Halo3. I really don't like the Duel settings and think when we do launch our 1v1 we need to have the Game Type set up the XL way.

We've been planning to have a 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4 ladder since we decided to do a ladder system..

A 1v1 ladder would suck, bigger advantage for having host, no suitable maps, bad game for 1v1.

It may not be the best gametype in the world of Halo, but if there's demand for it then we will make it happen.

I'd play it, its the only GameType that you cant get away with being shite on. The bottom line is it tests every part of your game and more. Pending the right settings of course, not the shite we have to play the head to head playlist.

I'd like to bump this and ask what is going on with the Ladder situation and I also agree, 1v1 would be sick :)

And sorry if I have missed something and should have read something that partains to a certain bit of relevant information.

We will be testing ladders with a beta tournament soon.

The main issue with Halo3 1v1 is lack of suitable maps but still no reason why it cant be done on a ladder or league as opposed to a tournament.

I would be more the willing to do a competition for Halo 1v1 as i love the game type, as long as we have enough players taking part i don't see any issue with doing it.

I already play on a striped out version of Guardian each day for 1 v 1's and Blackout is also quite good. As long as you have Radars off and BR start with removing the camo/overshield its makes most small maps balanced and competitive.
