Unreal Tournament's 'Gears Of War 2 surprise' revealed

Don't sit yourself down just yet, it's not nearly as ground-breaking as you hoped...
It seems that GAME has given away what the Gears of War 2 surprise bundled with Unreal Tournament III is going to be - a video.

In an exclusive interview with OXM, Mark Rein promised there would be a Gears Of War 2 surprise on the Unreal Tournament III disc.

The boxart shown on GAME contains a small sticker advertising the Gears of War 2 content, which is labelled as "video content on disc". A real disappointment given it could have been a demo, multiplayer skins, online beta, anything. Anything but a damn video.

Surprised they haven't done a Beta for it and bundled it on another game, then the forced fans of gears would have to spend more of there hard earned money for a hands on taste of whats to come.

yeh i agree i thought when i first saw a gow2 suprise on unreal that it would be a beta and i would then have had to bought unreal just for that lol seems to make sence in the money department for developers if it was :) i was gutted to see that all it would be is a video by that time im sure we will have all seen it on the internet so it will be no suprise, im definatly not jumping out to buy unreal just for a gow vid :(

Meh - im waiting for the game anxiouslly - but with slaps in the face like this, the game looks bleak. Makes me want to go play Call Of Duty, and not re-visit GoW like it did a little while back. Hell, almost every new game im looking forward to, i've gone back a gen to play the previous game
