Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of 2007 and I am sure many fans of the original ones will be pleased to hear that a single player demo has now been released.

It is 625MB and the description in the Dashboard reveals a little more about the story:

"Following the failure of the coup detat in Mexico City Mexican rebels have gathered their remaining forces along the US border. Lead your team of elite Special Forces for the first time on US soil - straddling the border between Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas. The Ghosts have less than 72 hours to stop a nuclear attack."

Have you downloaded the demo yet? Tell us what you think

It's a single player demo and it does look shiny.

I can't relly say how it compares to GRAW, as I never really played it, but the demo seems ok, although it feels a bit slow.

I'm sure all the GRAW enthusiats will love it. :)

lets hope they've fixed the "randomly disappearing next-gen" graphics this time........

Its mehhh, i don't do single player, and it seems pretty much like the original SP, and im kind of glad the old ones multilayer wasn't like it, feels so jerky and clumsy. I hope the new MP is pretty much the same as last time, slowed down a bit.

To be honest the demo was a little disappointing, i was a big fan of the first GRAW, the co-op missions were the best. Don't really like hwo they have changed the way you lean up against the wall.

Controls are still very clumsy n plays just like the first one (I couldnt be arsed to finish the first GRAW cos I simply got bored of the campaign). Hope MP is improved.

Hurrah for another "meh" game then?

The important thing is it will sell well... :( thus convincing Ubisoft to change everything next time.
