well its been a near enough a month, and im sick and tired of trying to get this retarded key. I have 100% and have had it for AGES. I phone take two and they tell me to email social club. I do so and i get no reply for about two weeks, which says they are still trying to update it.

I really cant believe that after a month, the server wouldnt connect to Xbox.com and chose all those that have 100%, then compare the gamertags from there to the ones registered on Social Club.

I give up - **** the key, i have my 100% but it doesnt feel the same.

Just a thread to rant AND ask if anyone else had their key [If they finished it in time]


EDIT: just to confirm, im at 70% on the site and have been for about a month. :|

Also - call the Social Club/R*, rather than emailing them. Always gets a better response.

My progress was finally updated to 100% on the R* website a couple of days ago (I actually got to 100% on May 17th). So now I can get into the Social Club (it's pants, by the way). I don't have a physical "key to the city" yet. As far as I know they haven't been handed out yet. It says here (http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/events/HPCcontest/EN.html) that the list of winners will be posted no later than July 5th, so I guess we'll just have to wait until then!

I got into the 100% Club on the 18th of May, about an hour after achieving 100% on the game itself. As far as I'm aware, no-one has been contacted about the key. They must still be verifying.

email them and tell them you can comfirm you got the 100% if they look at your gamertag on xbox.com as your able to see when you unlocked your achievement for 100%.

It opens a portal into another world, one which is set in the GTA universe. Except instead of peds it's populated by the thousands of geeks who rushed through GTA to get 100% and the key ----> Violence down 100%, B.O up 100%

Looks like this is finally starting to happen.

I got an e-mail from Rockstar this morning. (They will have sent the e-mail to the address you registered with, so be sure to check it!) You just have to fill out a form then send it back to them. Be sure to return it within seven days or else you will miss out, which would be terrible after all that hard work put in to get to the big 100(!)

I got mine in the wee hours of this morning. You fill the form out on the computer, print it, sign it, scan it, and email it to them (or you can post it to NYC if you can be arsed). Can't believe they finally came out! :D

got my email, how do you get the form in email form without a printer and scanner ? anyone got the form scanned for me to use ? ill use paint to add a signiture.

I still don't understand how people are getting excited over a 'virtual key', why is is so special? What does it do, if anything?

It's a real key - a souvenir silver key from Rockstar. Doesn't unlock anything and is basically worthless though.

Hahah, no, it is a real, tangible key, Bonzo. Think of it as a souvenir or something. It isn't really special at all, but, so what---It is free and just kind of neat to have if you like things like that...

The thing is, Mazzy, there is a fair bit of personal information to fill out as well as the signature, so you might be better filling all that out, print-preview, then print-screen it, make it pretty big. Then if you can use Photoshop you can get it looking like it was scanned in (they aren't to know how good or bad your scanner is). But it would be so much easier to just find someone with a printer/scanner and ask to use theirs! I expect your local library has one you can use.

Probably some legal thing to do with actually signing it by hand. Also note you only have a couple days left to return the form!
