Please use this thread to arrange your MatchBox360 FIFA08: UEFA Euro 2008 Group C fixtures and reports results accordingly.
You have until midnight SUNDAY 22nd June to play all group fixtures.

You are to play each player in your group twice as part of any one fixture alternating host accordingly.
The host will set up the game and play as the home team.

The GROUP C players are as follows:

The top 2 players from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

After the first game and what happened i was asked to watch incase it happened again, and at 4-2, sure enough, he quit.

It is not a dispute if the tournament admins are satisfied about the result. I literally sat here and watched what happened. You are extremely lucky you're not kicked from this - and I suggest you re-evaluate your priorities if losing a match online means you resort to falsification and lying. This has happened in the tournament already - the only difference was that the other culprit wasn't stupid enough to try it right in the view of the host.

what is your problem?? You lost the game, you just kept shooting from half way every time that was your best attempts. You know I dont have any pictures because when you quit it wont keep the score up. You know you lost and you are a bad loser!

@ Voltz - I have read this thread and the evidence provided by Renegade who actually lives with the 2 players acting as witnesses. Also as per rules:
Please note: It is the responsibility of all players to ensure the game settings are correct, and by playing in and completing the game you accept the game settings set by the host player.
Even if it was set to 10 minutes, it is your responsibility to ensure the settings are correct and quitting out in the 89th minute does not change the result. Had it been 15 minutes into the game or even half time then you may have had a case...but in the 89th minute???!!!

The result stands and please accept this as an official warning of your conduct.

How can you not be banned for that :O Jesus, this is not stamping down on cheaters aswell, i call for a points reduction to show other players you admins mean business

Potential - trust me we mean business. However, a ban does not help the tournament in any way, leaving the tournament a man down does nobody any good. The difference here is that Voltz chose to do it with an admin watching it. Any players on warnings will be observed with extra scrutiny, and of course have to suffer the reputation hit that comes with an official cheating warning, both for Online Events and for XL and other LAN events.

Hopefully the players will realise that this is not gamebattles, XLeague or any other event where scrubs can prosper. Unlike those sites and events, we have the ways and means of finding out exactly what happened - we have the contacts and sources to root out anyone claiming false victories. Thus, hopefully players will stop the playacting and grow up.

If not, rest assured we will deal with it. For anyone else hoping to try the same thing - take this as a warning. We will find out about it.

I understand that he has received the loss. What i dont get is how he could sit there and lie about the whole two games and continued to say lie about everything when a admin has watched the game. Revo got a loss jus for quitting out on the first game. Volts got a lost for leaving in both games and then saying its all lies,

Can us as other teams perform like a protest or soething to get a pooints reduction on this guy or something? I take cheating very seriously and i hate seeing it :(:(

I think its about time everyone who feels like cheating grows up. Being a cheat is NOT cool, not at all, I think everyone agrees with that.
We should be playing this game like grown ups, all this lying and arguing is stupid and needs to end here.

Both players attempted to cheat in exactly the same way. Both were given the same punishment - a loss of the score of the game, at the time they quit. The only difference was that Davi3s Lar was willing to play the 2nd leg and Skillz was not.

Revo - your post was disruptive being the fact that you are NOT in Group C, and this is not the time or place to be arguing a decision.

Considering that only one of eight groups has finished all their fixtures, I don't think the deadline was too long at all. If it finishes earlier, the knockouts will start earlier. It's a deadline - not an instruction.

1st game I was ok - didn't play too well but finished chances. Both first goals from both Italy and france were proper scummy goals lol. Think i finished pretty much every chance i got.

2nd game was the worst i think i've ever played. couldn't finish, couldn't pass, couldnt defend. Really angry about the 2nd game, i was crap

Oh, and having checked messages sent to Davi3s Lar's account - iMike has quit the tournament, and so Davi3s Lar gets the 5-0 win from the 1st leg. As welshsuperman was yet to play iMike, welshsuperman will get a default 4-0 "no show" win.

second game- Davi3s Lar dominated again i only scored from counter attack, though i'm not 1 to complain but Davi3s Lar got a very fortunate penalty to get an equaliser. apart from that 2 excellent games, congratualtions and good luck for the rest of the tournament and hopefully there will be a losers tournament

Although the rules do state:

A 2-0 win will be awarded for any fixtures determined to be "no show".

I'm going to change it. It's not fair, that a player only receives a 2-0 win if the other player doesn't turn up. Plus, it punishes no shows more - discourages it. It's now a 2-0 win per leg, so a 4-0 win overall. Although it doesn't change anything, your result has been amended welsh.
