Please use this thread to arrange your MatchBox360 FIFA08: UEFA Euro 2008 Group A fixtures and reports results accordingly.
You have until midnight SUNDAY 22nd June to play all group fixtures.

You are to play each player in your group twice as part of any one fixture alternating host accordingly.
The host will set up the game and play as the home team.

The GROUP A players are as follows:

Please note: you must remain as the same team for the duration of the tournament.

Please report your results in the following format:

Winner: player 1
Game 1 Result: 3 - 1
Game 2 Result: 2 - 3
Aggregate Score: 5-4

The top 2 players from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

The groups are decided on Head to Head results. So if you beat Switzerland, you are through regardless of goals.

As far as I can tell, should Switzerland beat Czech Republic, they are through regardless of the result of Czech Republic vs Turkey - as Switzerland would have a better head to head against Czech Republic even if they finish equal on points. If Switzerland draw against Czech Republic, they must then hope that Turkey win against the Czechs by a spectacular margin to overcome the current 9 goal margin.

Because Turkey lost to Switzerland and Portugal, they cannot finish any higher than 3rd, and are therefore knocked out of Euro 2008.
