Just had a few games with Dan, we decided since we don't know which teams we are yet we would have a bit of a practice with a few of the different teams.

We decided to play against each other using random teams but sticking to their groups, we took the 4 teams and picked 2 at random, anyway this is how it went. In the order we played them:

IcemanLeigh - Gaskin


Turkey 0 - 1 Czech Republic

Poland 1 - 0 Austria

Netherlands 1 - 0 France

Russia 2 - 1 Greece

Switzerland 0 - 2 Portugal

Germany 4 - 1 Croatia

Italy 2 - 0 Romania

Sweden 3 - 1 Spain


Overall 6 - 2 to me ;)
Aggregate score: 13 - 6 :D

Might either do the same tomorrow mixing up the fixtures, or play the games again but switching the teams round.

All that being said, a lot of the games were ridiculously close, including the Switzerland Portugal game, and the Italy Romania game too. Some of these lesser teams could spring a surprise in the right hands. I was definitely shocked at how well Dan was able to withstand with Romania especially. Looking forward to this tournament now..

Games could have been 5 or 6. Russia fell to pieces at the end in the second game, was 0-0 till the 80th minute then they finally started going in. I'd sort of liked to be a lesser team for this tournament, because even if I do well all will be said is "only because you're Germany".. ah well. I'll have to beat a big team to get somewhere.
