. As you may already know, we decided to push back our scheduled event in February for the benefit of the community. Full details of forthcoming XL events will be announced as soon as possible.
So basically we are now looking at March or April. A few details need to be confirmed with the venues before a decision can be made on the actual date.

Here's hoping for a date between 5th March and 21st March as that's when I have my holiday's booked for.

Unfortunately it is looking increasingly unlikely as the NEC is fully booked with major exhibitions during those dates hence the Toute Suite will not be available. We also expect the Omega Sektor to be ready early April.
We were forced into a situation where we had to compromise our dates in February for the benefit of the community, and unfortunately that has caused us major delays in being able to confirm a date for the next XL.
Full details n dates be announced as soon as possible.

Personally I’m hoping it will be late April as i used up all my holiday for the year and i wont be able to take anymore till late April at a push. Saying that i can push hard on my boss so i could most probably get early April off at a BIG push.

If they cant get April wouldnt it be a good bet to just wait untill everyone one( students i mean) are on there summer holidays so that way its when most people will be off from school or work and more people would be able to attend.

why not try and get one B4 the gcse's weeks start?
bcoz june is like half a year away and if you w8 untill halo3 you wont have a lan untill november/december so thats like 1 in 2007

Exams go up until the last week of June (28th I think) so there's no point waiting, it'll be too long.

As long as you dont have an exam the day after then its all good, if you are structuring your work time properly you will 'not' lose out on any revision. Not that GCSE's need any anyway. As for coursework that should be wrapped up before they even start if not you are quite simply wasting too much time.
Anyhow, i would be glad if it got pushed back a bit as i need to pay for lots of driving lessons soon and my provisional and also my new PC so even though i finally have a job i have no money lol.

Unfortunately, yesterday we were informed that asbestos has been found in the building n has subsequently delayed the build on the Omega Sektor. We have received a new estimated build completion date of May...however I would say that June would be more realistic now tbh.
As such, we are currently seeking alternative arrangements for our next event. We will provide full details as soon as venue n dates have been confirmed.

Why don't you hold an XL event at the toute suite again (maybe march or april time), on the same scale as the first. Then you can afford to have the following one as late as july.

Yeah the Toute Suite is fully booked throughout March, however we are hard at work tryin to sort an alternative venue for April. We only heard this news yesterday so please be patient as we are doing our utmost to bring you the next XL asap.
In hindsight we would have done our event as planned at the Toute Suite...n that would have been next weekend.

Well realistically the last 2 weeks are only the unusual subjects like history of Greek spoon-making, but still, I think April is ideal.

ive also got to get practice in im not on much these days and if i am i am lagging like FU*K which only gives me the opprotunity to practice at my mum's and she, well im sure u can tell how some parents are about GCSE's and my mum is one of them. also i think my gcse's are slightly more important than XL (although it rocks my socks), i know what ur all trying to say but i would just to prefer it if it was after, but no worries.

I'd like the XL Tourney to be in the Easter holidays (2nd April-16th April) or a weekend

The next XL will be over a weekend and we are currently in negotiations with a number of venues. Due to the scheduled event in Febraury being moved for the benefit of the gaming community, we have encountered numerous problems with the availability of suitable venues. Full details will be announced asap
