Well with Minx signing up a team i make that 33 teams total (unless i cant count which would be slightly disturbing seeing as a i have a Maths AS exam tommorow:D). What will happen? will the team limit be raised, Minx's team be placed on a backup list, or will the least complete teams be cut first? Coz if thats happening ive gotta sort my team out as theres only 2 players in it atm.

1. as per rules there will be a transfer period after each round.
2. the first round fixtures will be available on Sunday 15th and you have a week to arrange/play your fixtures accordingly.

Teams are required to tell us any changes in player GTs from XL or online. We're not psychic so if we're not informed then players simply dont get seeded. I'm not going to start trying to cross reference over 200 players so its basically the players and teams responsibility to provide this information.

Because there is significant difference between online and LAN play due to lag/latency. Having friendly fire on in Gears online can result in killing team mates even if they're not in your line of fire on your screen.

To answer your questions:

Sunday 22nd at 8pm is default for round 1 if teams cannot agree a mutually convenient time,
Its a best of 5 map series so map 3 is only applicable if the 5th map is required to be played.
Any teams with red players need to provide correct registration details in the amendments thread before playing.

Your opponents are registered...they just need to update MatchBox360 usernames in the amendments thread. As I have already advised, please post match arrangement details in the round 1 fixture thread and arrange with the team captain.

All players need to be registered correctly. If they only have 3 correctly registered players then they must play 3v4. They can update their team by posting details in the amendments thread. Please advise the team accordingly.

If they agreed to 5pm Wednesday and they are not online, then you are entitled to claim a no show default win. If you would rather do the sporting thing and arrange the game again, then you are welcome to do so.

Seedings were used to create first round fixtures.
Seedings were done on a per player basis from the last online tournament for top 16 teams.
If your players have changed GTs without informing us then players would not have been seeded.

I've had no luck trying to get in contact with this team. I've sent Matthiaus msgs via MSN and PM,,, and sent his xbox gt messages too with no reply.

Hi Kon, we're trying to arrange our match with Virtually heroes, i'm in contact with their leader VH I JJ, they have 4 players registered but 2 have trouble with internet connections which he hopes is sorted by Sunday... if not he says he will register other players instead. Is this allowed? i thought you could only register new players between fixture rounds as the registration date for round 1 has already passed surely he can't register new players and has to play with the team he registered originally. Any help appreciated, Cheezy.

So why in the registration thread did you put this: Registration will close at midnight Friday 13th June.
We were all registered before that date because we thought you couldn't register players after. you're effectively saying it isn't closed.

It says at the end of a fixture you can transfer and update teams... that's how i work it out...
Allowing new registrations between close of registration and completion of first round fixtures just seems wrong... i understand the need for name changes and correcting players registry details if wrong but not completely new registrants to add to teams after registration closed.

We run free to enter tournaments for ppl to ENJOY. Having been doing this for several years now, we also recognise the fact that teams frequently change line-ups and as such allow teams to make amendment/update to their squads for the benefit of everyone playing before their first fixture.

We have also introduced a new "transfer window" system due to changes that happen during the course of the tournament.

These ideas have been implemented to reduce no shows and problems caused by teams no longer having a full team due to various reasons.

One of our best players Gears disc broke and he couldn't replace it before the registration deadline so rather than have 5 registered players i put someone in his place to make 6....

We were advised by Frontaxe that I Deny I were no longer active and were to be replaced by infused. Obviously there has been communication from yourselves with Minx regarding your new lineup in the last few days, and as there are no spaces available in the winners bracket then we have no choice but to add you to lower bracket.

You also need to confirm lineup and provide correct usernames for all players.

Also can i add please that Fontaxe ammended your gamertag and added you to Infused. I sent a message out to Fontaxe asking him to contact me via xbl or msn and havent had a reply so obviously couldnt sort out I Deny I and infused to figure out what was going on.

In the ammendments thread when Kon asked "so deny are no more then?" you replied yesterday

With regards to the uG situation...

uG may change their line-up using players from the other 2 teams as no players have yet played a game in any of the teams, and have since been removed from their initial teams.

Due to the lateness of these changes, the fixture will be played at a time suitable to PMS. If uG are not able to play at the time specified by PMS then they will receive a default loss and will be eliminated.

We are not prepared to be messed around by teams or players and as such this decision is final. We encourage all teams to play with a sporting code of conduct and hopefully other teams who have commented on this will agree that this is the common sense solution.

As long as you have posted details in the match arrangements thread then that covers your back. You will receive default win if they havent done the same. The default time for matches in this round is 8pm Thursday.

hi, in the winner bracket we play versus the InfernoGaming EU, we are the InfernoSoldiersClan and they can play just the sunday. They had not could play monday, tuesday,wednesday,thursday,friday,saturday.

THEY can just play the sunday but i'm not sure that all my players will be present for the match, and i don't know if the deadline is saturday 11:59 pm or sunday 11:59 pm.

Please do not post and ask when the next round it going to be up on a sunday, all teams have until midnight sunday to post results, the results then will be collected and the new fixtures will be up usually early hours of monday morning but always before midday.

It takes time to collect results from all the brackets and to post next round fixtures so please be patient and wait till monday!!!!
