A great game saw Kubrick go one up in the 42nd minute, only to get pegged back in the 44th by Renegade with a cheeky shevchenko turn. Second half saw Renegade take the lead in the 61st, and then be given a penalty which Lampard duly missed, hitting the bar. Baptista was yellow carded for the offense, then sent off in the 80th with a dodgy sliding tackle in the Chelsea box. Renegade changed from 4-3-3 to 5-3-2, to triple mark Henry, and was rewarded with a breakaway goal, Drogba scoring a sweet half volley into the bottom corner. A comfortable win, with 3 goals and a missed penalty. Might have been different if Baptista had not been sent off, but as it stands NeoKubrick's winning run has come to an end. Neokubrick 1-3 RenegadeDS.

A very tight game in which Renegade went 1-0 up only to be pegged back with a poorly defended cross, which Messi controlled on his chest and beautifully volleyed home into the bottom corner. A 64th minute winner sealed the deal, Shevchenko slotting home a rebound off the keeper, into the back of the net. An extremely tough game, the hardest of the three and nowhere near as easy a win as my previous game.

Relatively comfortable game, but still had it's challenges and I was extremely annoyed conceding what was, in all fairness, a spectacular goal from Drogba from the tightest of angles. Rob hit a screamer with Lampard early in the game at 0-0, which was only just saved by Cech, but after then I went to score two goals in ten minutes and then sat back on it, simply as I'm tired right now. Confident that if I wasn't in awful form that I could have got more, but Rob put up a fight. Good game.

Played 4 won 4, not too bad considering my form! Scored 11 conceded 3, my defense needs fixing :(

Liverpool vs Chelsea

A very entertaining game which saw biglad take the lead after just 2 minutes, with a beautiful Finnan cross and Kuyt volleying home from 8 yards. It was stunning, and really knocked me back. However, Lampard equalised just two minutes later, and after that it was constant pressure on the Liverpool goal, which cracked at the end of the first half with 2 more quickfire goals. Another two goals in the second half sealed the deal, RenegadeDS going top of the league for the first time and only needing one point from his final two games to be certain of qualification. Great game.

Very tight game which created very few golden chances. It wasn't until the 81st minute that the game was decided, Renegade capitalising on a poor pass in the Barca midfield, to slot a throughball to Sheva who blasted into the middle of the net. Before this, Drogba had hit the post and Barca had a huge opportunity with a goalmouth scramble during with Cech made several saves and rebounds were flying. Fortunately an offside was called and pressure was dropped. A great game, very tense and very enjoyable. Great defending from both sides and in the end one quick moment decided it. Unlucky Fellis. Renegade through to the knockout stages, played 6 won 6. 100% wins in the group stage was my goal from the start - having done it at XL was nice to do it again. Next round beckons.
