* Well i just stuck this here as there aint a FFS forum or a General Chat forum but here goes*

I've seen a fair amount of ridiculous vandalism in my years in school. But I have now got a rather spectacular hole in one of my pristine less than a year old smartboard 660s. I wouldn't mind if it was an older 500 series, they are easier to hang. All because the child was told to remove his hood in the classroom.

I have no way of re-couping the money as any invoice sent to the childs guardians would be ignored. HOY said no problem as he's now getting permanently excluded and didn't understand why my face was turning purple with anger!!!

Stroppy little bl$$dy hoody rat!!!

That is all...

Although, I presume you don't pay for it James? In which case, it's one less piece of equipment for you to maintain :D

the power is with the kids not the teachers and staff

The teachers have no power. School's are run by kids not by the Adults.

I'm sure the schoool is responsible for the children and their actions. (although they have none) so i'm sure the school or the state will refund it. talk to the citizens advice bureau, you might be able to claim for it.
