Things to Do in Liberty City When You're Dead

Basically, this is a thread where you post those moments that aren't in the script so to speak. Those moments which are just so ****ing brilliant that you want other people to enjoy them too.


Get drunk downtown at night (midde island), hail a taxi (preferably a min-taxi), go to a destination which passes through all the bright lights of the middle island, put on your favourite radio station and enjoy a psychdelic journey.

Haha, my best have been in free roam multiplayer with one of my friends.
For some reason it was so funny at the time I nearly shat myself but all that actually happened was we both had 3stars and my friend kept getting run over- sometimes by the police and sometimes by me. His body was flying back and forth through the air, guns were going off everywhere and I think he had a bazooka.

Also it was classic when we were doing a co-op mission and I told him the helicopter he was flying had guns; he then pressed buttons to try and activate the guns, jumped out the plane and flew about 1km forwards quicker then the heli, which crashed into a massive building and blew up. Epic fail.

Sooo many legendary moments happen in multiplayer :p

I was playing a quick one-on-one with my mate, and we spawned at the old casino in Alderney, both nabbed quick cars, and I chased him all the way to Francis Intl, where we both grabbed annihilators and continued the chase in the sky. It was epic, and unplanned!

free roaming, i'm flying a chopper and two of me pals are in the back shooting s**t up.

I take it above the empire state and jump oot, "see ya's later".

I hit the building and died after bouncing of a couple of ledges.

Respawned 5 seconds later and that very chopper smashed into the ground yards in front of me with burnin bodies flying oot.

twas rather amusin.

driving a coach head on into a car, watching the guys body fly out of the car into ur windscreen and stay there until u turn or brake.

Hauling some major ass down a straight peice of road, all of a sudden came to a T-Junction, a motorbike came across me, I hit the bike at 90-100 mph (guess) the biker went flying a few hundred feet in front of me, and then I ran over him as he landed.

Also been sent up in the air after I dislodged a fire hydrant and parked over it as the water is shooting up in the air.

Also the forklift trucks on Statue of Liberty island are good for running over pedestrians.

Getting drunk and driving home is quite funny, when the screen is all wavy.

I think i was playing with Ipokesnails and there were loads of us over by the stunt jums over by the second island, and there were also people jumping th broken bridge further down the river. I was having a bout race with snails and we both hit the ramp, almost at the same time and clashed into eachother. It just so happened that one of snails friends (I think it was Krispp) respawned after his SuperGT blew up after missing the jump by ALOT and crashing (which was funny becuase he spent about 10 minutes searching Alderney looking for one). When he respawned, he thought he would join the fun and see if he could grab a boat from somewhere and race. He jumped off the end of the peir (not too far way away from the jump) and as me and snails landed, we were still going very fast. Krispp jumped down, and hit the bonnet of Snail's boat, which caused him to jump in suprise and yelp (in a very high pitch). It was funny becuase not only did Snails crash and wreck his boat, Krispp started stating that the game hats him, because of his bad luck.

Answer - Free roam boat racing is an awsome thing to do when your dead (Needs alot of people though)

Nothing to do in liberty city anymore at all. I've played the game for about 5 hours and i was bored instantly. The story line just reminded me of VC and SA put together. And i was instantly bored. All hype and no guns to play with.

well tbh i havent really got into the story line as whenever i play story mode for more than 30 mins i get 2 rrod!!!!!!! but yet its fine on multiplayer i really dont understand it.

Going for the wheelie achievement on a bike, wheelied a bit too far. Back end of the bike hits a bump in the road, sends the bike up into the air, pulls a perfect front flip and lands. Would have been better had I been able to keep going but I smacked right into a lamp post about 2 secs after landing. Looked well cool though.

Also, dragging people along for ages when they're hanging onto the door handle of the car you just stole off of em is funny, esp when you turn a corner and another vehicle takes em out.

pulling a wheely on a freeway, hitting a curb and the bike sending me literraly miles into the air across atleast half the map, insane.

jumped out a car at very low speed, landed next to the car, whilst it took out a traffic light post, when i got up the traffic light came down like a hammer and knock me out.

Picked up a prostitute, took her to a old warehousing complex, got the $70 service.

She got out of the car, I reversed and hit a gas tank, my car blew up with me in it.
