[TIPS] Crime and Punishment

Im at the mission where you have to steal a police car. How do i do this without getting 3 stars.

I found a cop car.

Funny thing was - after i lost my 3 stars - i went hunting for the vans.
Problem was the car was so beaten up, that the siren didnt work :| the vans wouldnt pull over. SO ...... i had to steal another one

All you do is dial the cops on your mobile phone! cops come - jack their car - you only get 1 star!

And it tells you to do that on screen about 5 seconds after it tells you to get a cop car!

It's always worth looking round the corner if you get a mission where you have to find a copcar. I've found quite a few just parked and unattended.

In most missions where you need the police computer, a cop car is either parked 50 yards away, or driving past when you start the mission. If not, dial 911 (and choose the police, duh), wait for a squad car, and sneak behind the officer on the passenger side to get in unharmed. Then you can drive off with just a star, and the cops can't chase you (you've got their wheels)!

I always have to dial 911 can never find a cop car anywhere, the first time I stole a cop car after dialing 911 I found out that shooting an officer in the face from point blank with a shotgun gets you like 4 stars or something stupid and I found it quite hard to get rid of :(
