Crashing?

Anyone else suffering really badly with the game crashing regularly in multiplayer? Was fine originally last few days I get 2 or 3 minutes into any game and it freezes completely.

Nahmines been completely fine. Online though lately it's been laggin but i've expected that.

Yeah, every so often the picture will freeze for a few seconds. I was worried my Xbox was dying, but now I am hearing more reports of this, I guess it's just GTA.

I have tried the Multiplayer Tutorial twice now, and both times the games froze at the Loading screen after I complete it. And it doesn't sort itself out after a few seconds like in other places. I have to manually restart the Xbox. Has anyone else tried the tutorial and had that happen?

I try not to crash but with these slippy ******* cars its difficult not to.

All jokes aside (did you like the lack of humour?), I haven't experienced any crashes in the multiplayer so far but I have had issues where what was my own private game has dropped a player when starting a new game and suddenly become a public game open to anyone. That has happened a few times.

Also at one point I dropped out of my own game and ended up in a lobby with a load of randoms. That one confused me.

Today in the single player I was sitting in my Bohan Safehouse watching TV and I brought up the Guide blade to check the time, not only did everything freeze but it made a horrible sound too. It loaded up fine afterwards but it had me worried for a while.

Table Tennis aside it is Rockstars first forray into online gaming and as such its bound to have teething troubles.

Anyone for a patch?

Yeah Bully had problems of causing Xboxes to crash, wether it is the same issue as in GTA I don't know but it's bloody annoying.

Probably a bug in the game. Update end of june? or end of may haha :p

Thats alot of playing time.

ATM - im at 3:45 and im on the mission "Street Sweeper" with manny. Not met Pornstar X or Dwayne yet

The only problem I've had with online multiplayer (apart from the downtime on launch day) has been the pretty noticeable pop-in when I'm in a chopper (at night, bridge/car lights just pop out of nowhere). I don't get any pop-in at all in single player.

The game has frozen on me twice. The first time, it rectified itself seconds later, but the second time, the whole system just stopped and I had to reboot.

I'm playing it on PS3 by the way.
