As with all the GTA's the ability to change radio stations is a great feature in GTA IV. As well as the owner of the car having an affect on the radio station when you originally get in.
What's your favourite radio station and or audio clip from the game so far?
Not radio exactly, but I did enjoy finding the cameo from Ricky Gervais in the comedy club as well as on the TV doing a bit of stand up.
Is there a hip hop radio station?

I really enjoyed the Gervais bit too - especially seeing as it was from the FAME standup, which I went to see live!
My favourite station is Liberty Rock Radio (some lesser known rock combined with some classic rock and a-roll) closely followed by Vladivostock - which is 100% due to the song 'Schweine' by Glukoza. It's so cheesy, it's in Bulgarian, and it makes me smile every time I run someone over while I'm listening to it).

Two: The Beat, and Vibe.

the radio stations are a bit of a let down for me tbh, so far i dont think they match previous versions.

I prefer them - less of the famous tunes, so it's genuine gems that you hear rather than 'I already have that'.

Gaskin, shut up.
PLR, my fave stations are always the public radios. I do quite like WKTT, but I haven't listened to it that much. Quite liking the bit with the deranged women working for the pharmaceutical company or the child genius.

Chatterbox in GTA3 was my favourite. I heard them mention the presenter from that on GTA IV though :)
Well seeing as they took Del Mundo out then it would have to be Vladivostok FM. Nothing will replace Del Mundo or the electron zone though :(

Vladivostok FM - FUN FUN FUN WHILE YOU RUN AND GUN!
Liberty Rock Radio - Some absolute gems on there, from The Seeker and One Vision, to some brilliant songs I've never heard.
WKTT: We Know The Truth - I love taking the piss out of right-wing politics, and America in general. This show does both!
Integrity 2.0 - Pure gold from the (apparently technophobic) God of GTA Radio, Lazlow.
Radio Broker - some great tunes on there.
L.C.H.C - For destroying EVERYTHING IN SIGHT with the Hummer Patriot.

Been listening a bit more to Integrity 2.0 and it's brilliant.
Does anyone know if the OST has, erm, found it's way on the net yet?

I have found the 'net' release of the Special Edition CD if that helps Cat. It's 16 tracks, the CD that comes with the special edition of GTAIV.

Yeah, I've found and got that. I'm surprised the full OST isn't yet.
But I'm even more surprised that they don't seem to plan to release the OST on actual CD's. I know there were boxsets for GTA III, VC and SA, so why not for GTA IV?

It's either K109 or Vibe. They are the best IMO...

Hell ****ing yeah.
I haven't been too impressed with half of the songs (that'll improve with age like the previous games), but I was listening to the East-European station and hearing the song that won the Eurovision (I think?) a few years ago was great. I like the Journey station the best, at the moment. Three tunes in there I really like (especially the piece of music used in the reveal scene in the film Oldboy).
Also, can you play your own tracks or do you have to go to the xbox360 menu thing to do that? And if you have to, do the cutscenes turn the music off?
I didn't like not having your own radio station in San Andreas, it felt like a step backwards.

Hold left on the d-pad to turn the radio off..
Hmm i'm adding The Journey to my favourite stations now, the DJ is quite amusing.

L C H C & Liberty Rock are my faves.
All the adverts in between are as funny as f*ck.
GTA: SA, my fave station was Radio Los Santos.

Or Tuff Gong as the record label its named after is called.
I very much enjoyed Intergalactic Space Rangers on the TV. I think it was on WEAZEL. A not very subtle take on American military muscle in foreign climes.
On the radio I generally listen to Radio Broker or The Journey since these have most of the music tracks from the trailers on them. The piece by Philip Glass is brilliant.

I spent a good while yesterday watching the ingame TV, there's so much that went into it. I think you're referring to 'Republican Space Rangers' though, Cormac?
I'm really torn with the radio stations now, I listened to the Jazz station during a mission and there's some great stuff in there, the courthouse drama is good [although does get boring on repeated listens] and the Vibe has some more quiet music.

i love tht queen is on there, but you name two on this game, you could probly name 20 off the top of your head from the last game.

There is a lot of good music on this one. A lot of it is from unknown bands (at least to me).
I'm listening to the Jazz station lately - apart from the big band numbers. It's great, and gives the game a Cowboy Bebop feel to it.
I am also enjoying Tuff Gong (or gang if you want to call it that) with its Reggae Reggae Sauce style music and chilled out attitude towards radio. I still can't decide if K-Jah or Tuff Gong is better though as K-Jah has been passing the bong to the left since 1981.
DinnyHoon

Well, Tuff Gong is just Marley and the Wailers 24/7, so it really depends on how into reggae reggae sauce you are. I really like Tuff Gong, more than I liked K-Jah. I guess I'm not a hardcore reggae reggae sauce fan.

Hmm I don't know Tuff Gong is very reggae reggae sauce though i'd say they're both about equal actually and it comes down to personal preference. K-Jah for bongs and Tuff for gongs.

"Yeah, I saw one the other day with a cup, and there were two girls.."

K-Jah West was the best I thought. Some quality tunes on there.
The piss-take on Japanese anime is great (memory a little hazy):
Narrator: "One girl has to save the world by doing it."
Girl: "Me so horny"

The whole OST including adverts has now managed to find it's way on the net.
I'm surprised that Rockstar haven't announced retail versions yet.

I have to say it was a nice touch when I was doing the 'Concrete Jungle' mission, and coincidentally when I got in a car that song was playing.
