Rein: No, they’re still working on Gears. You saw that we put one update out, and we’ve got another one coming out another any day now—I’m not exactly sure when. We have another update in the works with a little surprise in it, and we have more downloadable content. We’re still working on making Gears a better game. You’ll have to wait and see what comes from that.

You always spell 'surprise' wrong, It's quite annoying to be honest.

But I must say I can't wait for an update. Something needs to be done, as the game is very broken and random at times.

They announced new maps without much attempt at secrecy, whereas this time they have only announced a 'little surprise' which makes me lean more towards it being different gametypes of some sort. This will be something that they will have known people have wanted as soon as they realised the popularity of the game, so it wouldnt surprise me if it was some form of something a bit different. For some reason, and i dont know why considering it is a solely team based game, but i am feeling the hint of something along the lines of a free for all type of game as it would have been alot easier to implement than any kind of diferent team game type.

I think free for all would not work that well as the maps have be set up the play as a teams.

Im still curious when I go into ranked why it says 'host' after every name. It looks stupid, id expect more variations like 'dedicated' may arrive soon.

GOW promised clan support before release and the sooner the better really.

Im not really sure what they are planning, or when, or even if they still are.. But they best hurry up or at least give us some small teasers soon cause otherwise half the population will have forgotten the game..

they better have better maps than Raven Down & Old Bones.

First, it barely fits in with the story(cept Raven Down kinda)

Second, they were poor attemps as maps. Too many guys fire lancer!

Last, they should have announced it better about it bein free as more people would get it
