how will the seeds be decided and the likes?

Seeds will be based on XL3 and 4's 4v4 points. If you were not seeded, you will receive a random seed. In future 2v2 tournaments, they will be seeded from this 2v2 tournament.

How will the reserve list be used then? Will reserves only be used to replace teams that withdraw before the competition starts or will they be used for first round no-shows also?

If a team does not show, reserve teams should be ready to be called in for that round.
